Chapter 86

Keegan POV:

It had been two days since I saw Vianne, and I missed her desperately. Since her arrival in Darwin, the media had been ravenous, hounding her every move. When she met up with Janice in public, at a local cafe, Dennis had called saying that Brant had just become aware that he no longer was in possession of the gun that he'd shot her with. Brant was less than pleased. Once he received word that Vianne was out in public, he'd gone to see her.

The local news had been replaying the scene outside the coffee shop since it happened the day before. Brant had approached her and dared to lay a hand on Vianne. Though the men were nearby, she'd been the one to put Brant in his place with a push as he continued to yell at her.
