"Scarlett is a seductive woman, two-faced and good at acting, Daddy," Ivy muttered, then she leaned back on the sofa, folded her arms across her chest and rested her right foot on top of her left.

"Dad, do you remember Scarlett telling me that she was pregnant with Alistair's child?" continued Ivy.

"Yes, I remember that. I am not sure that Alistair got his secretary pregnant, I think Scarlett was just making up a story to keep you away from Alistair," replied Mr. Lefrancois.

"Father, Ivy, don't talk about Scarlett and Alistair anymore. Sorry, I don't want to interfere but I am sick of hearing your stories," interrupted doctor Alvin.

"Me too, Alvin," Ivy said, pursed her lips.

"Instead of talking about them we'd better have lunch together now, come on Ivy, Alvin," said Pierre.

After conversing in the living room, Pierre and the others stepped into the dining room and had lunch together.
