Chapter Thirteen

She held her stomach tight as though it would stop it from growling. He shook his head and walked out of the mall. At first, she thought he was walking down to the cashier to make payment but he casually walked past the lady.

Maybe, this was one of the many properties he owned, she thought. She noticed the staff arranging the clothes in the booth of the car. He walked into the already opened door. She knew better and followed around.

“Uhm…are we done with the tour? Can we go now?” she asked, sounding as polite as she could.

“No.” he simply said and went back to his phone. Her stomach grumbled again. She just stared out of the window of the car unable to admire the beauty of the pack.

The car stopped again and she looked around. Why did they stop? It had not been up to ten minutes since they got into the car. He stepped out of the car and she followed suit.
