Chapter Fourteen

Humph! The dreadful day Kayla wished would never come had burst in, she'd go back to that bloody house. She couldn't focus at work as it was disquieting knowing she must hark back to Anthony’s house. Her miserable appearance merited her queries she did not answer. Kayla didn’t think she could survive it in Anthony's house for an entire month being browbeaten by the butthead.

Kayla left Qynville at four p.m, aware she must arrive at Anthony’s house before eight p.m, which was the time stated by the rule for her to return home. She stopped by her house to pick up a few necessary belongings and even have a soothing dinner there. Pulling up in the driveway, she proceeded further into the house.
