Aurora POV

After the stunt I had pulled earlier, the car didn’t stop, not for once.

It kept moving till we arrived at the place I once thought could never be real.

Dante De Luca’s island.

A place whispered about by people in fear. No one dared talk boldly about the rumors or else they would have their head rolling on the floor the next morning.

It was said to be the land of no return.

No one ever made it out alive once they stepped foot on the island. It was as if they had been swallowed whole and the water cleansed off every single trace of them.

People whispered about their lost ones but nobody had ever dared confront Dante about it, not even the police.

They all stayed clear away from the island like it was some kind of plague.

Everyone was anxious to know about the island activities. Unfortunately, nobody could describe the activities on the island as no one ever lived enough to tell the story.

My heart skipped ten times faster than it had as I stared at the dark body of water surrounding the mansions.

“Boss,” a voice cut through my thoughts, making me stare to the left.

Dante De Luca, the same man that had made my life change within hours from bad to worse, stepped down without any emotion, face hard as stone and his body moving with so much aura.

A strong hand pulled me off the car roughly. Apparently, it was the guy I had bitten while trying to run. He looked so mean, meaner than all of the guards.

Dante entered the boat that was already arranged at the water bank. His men all occupied it too and I was dragged in as well.

The boat rowed its way to the mansion standing in the middle of the water. The water paddles were the only sound heard.

About five minutes later, we were all standing before the mansion that looked nothing like I had imagined.

I was expecting a monster-like place, an ancient building, but what I saw made my mouth drop.

The mansion was built with modern structures, beautiful decor and designs. The building looked more like heaven on earth. This place looked like somewhere that had never held sins.

For a second, I forgot my predicament. I just stared, eyes admiring every effort and work put into making this masterpiece.

A lady rushed out from the door of the mansion, her heels clicking hard on the polished floor. She looked so beautiful with hair falling below her bra length. Her tight skinned gown hugged her body perfectly.

“Master,” she yelled happily, her hands embracing Dante in a hug.

I stood tongue tied as I stared at their interlocked bodies. Never for once did Dante try to push her away.

The lady pulled away, wrapping herself around his arm.

“You must be hungry. I told the maid to fix your meal,” she said brightly.

Dante walked alongside her, forgetting completely about me. Didn’t he just tell mom he wanted to marry me? Why was there a lady here already acting all lovey dovey?

For a moment I felt jealous, felt pained. Even though I knew I shouldn’t, my reaction was still justifiable as he had brought me here as his bride.

“Who’s that lady?” I asked before I could stop myself.

The shocked expression on everyone’s face told me I shouldn’t have uttered those words.

Well, I said what I said and I wasn’t taking it back.

The lady turned immediately, finally noticing my existence. Dante didn’t, he just kept walking in.

Is he crazy? Why is he still walking in? Why is he leaving me to this stranger?

She looked at me predatorily, a hateful stare I couldn’t help but notice. From her look it was obvious she didn’t like me.

“Do you know where you are?” she asked calmly but her voice was dangerous.

I didn’t talk. I just stared.

She wasn’t the one I had needed soeak to. It was Dante.

A hot slap landed on my cheek, one that made me see stars.

For a moment I couldn’t see clearly.

She grabbed my head roughly without saying another word.

“Let me go!” I yelled.

“Isabel, don’t stress yourself over her,” Dante’s voice rang out.

“She spoke rudely to me,” Isabel argued.

“Guards, throw her in the cell. No water, no food.”

“Make her start working tomorrow,” he instructed.

“Yes boss,” his men replied.

Before I knew it, I was dragged away to an air tight room, a room worse than the store-like room I inhabited back at home.

My heart sank again as I watched them shut the hard metal door, leaving me in total darkness.

Only the little dim light at the end of the room illuminated the space.

I sat on the floor after minutes of pacing around trying to find an escape but I found none.

I didn’t know how long I had stayed in the room before the door finally opened.

This time it wasn’t the guards, neither was it Dante or Isabel.

It was a lady dressed in uniform-like clothes.

“Shhhh,” she placed a finger on her mouth, urging me not to say a word.

“I came to help you. There is an escape. Just follow me,” she said.

Without thinking it through, I followed her, my legs cautious as I walked, trying not to alert the guards.

The strange lady seemed to know her way around as she avoided every guard in the hallway without being noticed.

She stopped when we got to the hallway.

“This is where I will stop. I can’t get caught,” she explained. “Walk straight, you will see a door. Open it and walk in. There is a tunnel that leads to the city.”

My heart warmed. For the very first time, someone was nice to me on this island.

“Thank you so much. I owe you,” I said before turning to walk along the hallway.

Truly as she said, I saw a door.

Without thinking much, I opened it as she instructed and stepped in.

A sigh of relief left my lips but it didn’t even last for a second before it was replaced with fear.

Before me was a big angry wolf staring at me with so much rage.

My heart skipped as I ran to the door to escape but tell me why the door was locked.

The big wolf scratched its claws across my back, tearing off my flesh through my clothes.

I screamed as I felt a crushing pain tear my skin apart.

Aurora’s POVStanding in front of Dante feels awkward, especially when I had dreamt I was in a romantic relationship with my boss.He sat with one leg crossed over the other, a glass of alcohol in his hands. His mouth wiped from the glass of wine before his gaze settled on my pathetic, bruised body. For one brief moment, I had thought he would come save my ass from hitting the floor as the guards tossed me forward, but I was wrong. He looked away almost immediately, his eyes settling back at the glass of wine.Isabel shifted closer, her hands resting on his shoulder as if she owned him.“Boss,” Marco said, bowing slightly. “The maid, as requested.”Dante’s cold eyes settled back on me, with no emotion nor recognition of the kiss we had. Neither did he behave like the one who had saved me from the cruel hands of this same evil mistress some days ago. What was I even thinking? He had done it for Luca, nothing else. For a long moment, he didn’t speak. My body shook as I felt his eyes tea

Aurora POV“Haaaa!” I screamed out loud as I jolted up from the floor I found myself on.Looking around, the first thing that caught my eyes was the number of people who had gathered, and the second was the queen who had sat on the throne like she controlled everyone here.I blinked repeatedly, trying to understand what the hell was going on.“Poor girl, she is doomed today,” someone whispered among the crowd.I frowned, confusion plastered all over my face.My gaze settled on my body. It was wet with mud, all staining the dress.I recognized these clothes. This was exactly what I was wearing the day I had been assigned to Isabel as her maid.No way. I am back in time, I frowned.“Tie her up,” Isabel’s voice rang out, jolting me out of whatever I was thinking.“What is going on?” I managed to ask.Isabel’s face frowned up, her eyes looking into mine with so much hatred.“You dare ask me that after burning my clothes?” she yelled, her ass standing up from the throne like chair she was

Aurora POVIt was almost ten o’clock in the morning by the time I woke up. No loud noise or bell sound, everything was calm except for the small snore from Dante.I turned slightly on the bed, with a face curved with a pretty smile as I stared at him.Dante was still asleep, his breath fanning my skin, hair covering his scar. I lay on the side of the bed, staring at the ruthless mafia lord, sleeping like he wasn’t a chaos. Not in my wildest imagination would I ever dream of being on the same bed with Dante. But here it was.On the same bed, after having a series of make out all night long.He groaned slowly before he finally opened his eyes. Our eyes met, and that moment I felt like the clock had stopped ticking for a second.Dante leaned closer, hands removing some strands of hair that had fallen over my face.“Good morning, amorchito,” he said in his strong Spanish accent.“Good morning, Dante,” I replied. He planted a kiss on my forehead before stepping out of bed.For some minute

Aurora’s POVThe cold air swept through my skin in the dark. My eyes squinted into the open as I walked my way into the boss’s apartment.Fortunately for me, there were no guards outside the hallway. My steps quickened with a racing heart as I made my way into his room.Grabbing the door handle, I didn’t think twice before pushing it open and only stopped walking when I was halfway in.Dante’s eyes settled on me just as he was about to thrust into Mistress Zain.Zain noticed the pause in the raw foreplay, and she traced the boss’s eyes to mine.Immediately, her face frowned, and her eyes rolled at me before she grabbed Dante by his dick.Dante yanked her hands almost immediately, his face turning all cold, and before I could blink, his hands were already wrapped around Zain’s neck.He lifted her up with just one hand, showing off her unclad body. His eyes flickered just like they did when we kissed earlier.Zain struggled to break free, hitting his hands, but his hold was too strong f

Aurora POVImmediately I stepped into the workers’ quarters, I searched around with my eyes for her.Amani, the only friend I had on the island. The quarters was always silent around this time of the day, as everyone would have retired back to bed after a stressful work at the farm.I leaned closer to Amani’s quarters, and there she was, sitting comfortably on a small stool, a bucket at her arm as she did some hand laundry.Amani didn’t notice me at first, not until she stood up to dry some of her clothes on the rope before her eyes settled on me.She stood still for minutes before dropping the clothes in the bucket and running towards me with a huge smile spreading across her face as she embraced me in a tight hug.I chuckled, wrapping my hands around her back also as we both stumbled backward.“I miss you so much,” Amani said while sobbing softly.“Such a drama queen,” I laughed.“I miss you too, friend,” I replied back. When we pulled away from the hug, Amani led me into her room.

  • Trapped In The Mafia Wolf Island   Chapter 21

Dante POVI shot at the center of the board repeatedly until the board tore apart. The sound of the gunshot echoed in my head each passing second, but I cared less.My mind was troubled, too occupied with her smile that invaded every space in my mind and replayed as a picture on my retina.Since the day I saved her from drowning, I hadn’t stopped thinking about her, or maybe it had started a long time ago and I had just gotten noticed.I longed to see her each day I was out for work and hurriedly wanted to come back just to see her smile and smell her scent in the room.I had blamed these whole feelings on Lucien, but deep down, I knew I felt for her just the same way Lucien did.But I had questioned myself, why? That answer, I’ve got no answer to, as Lucien had decided to keep mute every freaking time I asked. My hands pressed hard on the trigger as I released another bullet into the board again. My mind lingered on how I had kissed her softly on the bed and how she had responded alm
