Chapter 41

Grayson POV

I am wakened by a clattering of something that fell on the floor. What I don't understand is what it can be. I get up and pull a shirt over my head. I walk out of my room and see my mother cleaning something off of the floor.

"What happened here?" I ask and bend down to help my mother clean up.

"I am so sorry I woke you up. I called down for some room service. I was just taking it off of the trolley when your father gave me a fright." I look around and see my father standing to the side trying to keep his laugh in. I look back at my mom and instead of her looking mad, she looks more annoyed.

My mom finishes up with the cleaning while I call down again for them to bring up another plate. We sit and eat breakfast together and it isn't until this moment that I realize just how much I missed it.
