Chapter 42

Mia Pov

Today is one of my off days. Thanks to Cleo that has been happening more and more I am not sure if I should be happy or worried. I don't think Cleo has been working me out, or at least I don't hope so.

As far as I am concerned today I am going to just relax and watch some Netflix. There is a couple of shows that I have started watching, but never get the chance to finish. 

I have already dropped Liam off at school and even had a talk with his teacher. She told me that Liam is a bright kid and is learning at a much faster pace than all the other kids. She thinks that he will be a genius once he is older, so basically, she confirmed what I already knew.

I sit down on the couch when I heard a knock on the door. I look at my clothes. I ain't really dressed for any visitors. Maybe it's just Ava or Kai checking in on me to see if I need anything today.

I open and my boss Scott is standing outside my door.
