Chapter 53

Grayson POV

I was awoken by the smell of smoke in the middle of the night. I get up and made my way toward the sound of screams. I step outside the hotel and see that the forest was now completely engulfed in flames. I run to help everyone to put out the flames. 

Some have garden hoses, others are running back and forth between the house and the forests with buckets filled with water.

I feel pressure inside my skull. Almost like someone is trying to communicate with me. I open up myself and Ansiel comes forth.

"Let me take over."

"No, Ansiel. I need to help them."

"I can help them. Step aside and let me take over."

"Fine."
