Aaron shut the door behind and slapped Nancy on the face. “How dare you? Did you forget about our deal?”

Nancy touched her face where she had been slapped and felt a metallic taste at the corner of her mouth.

She squinted her eyes and lifted her hand, backhanding him across the face. “Fucking, loser, don’t you ever lay your hand on me again. I’m not Nora who would tolerate your temper. And what are you getting worked up for? She’s not dead yet.”

Aaron wiped the corner of his lips that tore from the hit. Obviously, Nancy had not held herself back when she slapped him.

Aaron sneered. “I shouldn’t have trusted you. I must have been blind to have colluded with you earlier.”

That’s right.

When Nancy learned about his little crush on Nora, she sought him out to join hands with her.

Liam and Nora were very much in love, and it was becoming almost impossible to separate them.
