Troublesome Merchant

Chapter 1

"We can do this! Lucia! Clarisse!" A hero said, encouraging his allies.

A figure covered in a dark cloak descended and removed his cloak, and taunted, "feel free, heroes. I'll enjoy this!"

"You won't, as I defeat you Demon Lord Von Cron`e Gon," the hero replied as he drew his sword and charged head-on.

The two exchanged blows and huge blasts are created each time their sword hits each other. Soon after, the two warriors Lucia and Clarisse assisted the hero. Blow after blow, each one creating a big air blast or sparking their sword.

The two sides battle furiously, the hero's desperate to defeat the demon lord. And the demon lord is cautious as he knows he can die in battle.

After a few more minutes, the two warrior's attacks started to slow down, Demon Lord Von saw an opportunity and shouted "aria!" and warrior Lucia was blasted away.

Clarisse, enraged, cast a spell, "Krix Technique: Sword barrage!" and 2 swords out of her mana appeared, constantly striking at Von who blocks and dodges the attacks easily.

"Futile Effort," Von said bluntly, a sword then appears on his other hand and he charges up for an attack.

The Demon Lord thrusts his sword into Clarisse… Clarisse is surprised to see she wasn't stabbed, as it turns out, she was teleported out of the situation and sees the hero in her place blocking the attack.

Struggling, the hero eventually got out of the situation and shouted to Clarisse, "get Lucia! and get out of here. If I die, you know where to find the next hero." He then smiled.

Clarisse, surprised, hurried to Lucia and assisted her. The Demon Lord Von wouldn't let them escape and cast a spell while fighting the hero, he said "Pain: death needles," and black long needles appeared and flew towards the fleeing Clarisse and Lucia.

The hero wouldn't allow this and countered with a spell, "Life: Death protection!" Clarisse was close to being hit, but the needle was teleported into the hero's back and he took the damage for himself.

"You are killing yourself for nothing. You are now going to die," Von said to the hero.

"At least my allies will be able to seek the next hero and defeat you surely!" The hero said.

"I've already killed 3 other heroes and you'll be my 4th trophy! Eventually, this world will fall into my hands. It's only a matter of time," The Demon Lord proclaimed and laughed. 

The hero was shaken by Demon Lord Von's words, "I already know that. That's why if I die a new hero will be born again, and that time. You'll surely be defeated!" The hero said because he does know that he's the 4th hero sent to kill the Demon Lord.

"I look forward to your death," Von replied enthusiastically.

The hero charges yet again towards Demon Lord Von. They exchanged blows but this time, each of the hero's hits is much stronger than before. Even the demon lord was not expecting it. But because of this, he gets more exhausted faster.

Moments later, Demon Lord Von gains the upper hand as the hero slows and gets tired each strike. He grips the hero's neck and lifts him.

The hero dropped his sword. He still was able to say, "you will not escape away from me… Devastating Light Punishment!" The hero turned into a white glowy explosion.

"Die!" The Hero's final words.

On the other side of the world, a guy who's a son of a rich person is living normally. as a spoiled kid.

"Hey! What's up?" A man asked as he approached someone.

"Sup Zane! Been doing great, how about yourself?" The man replied as they did a handshake.

"Couldn't go out for two days. I got scolded by dad for bullying our classmates and stuff. It just went through one ear and left on the other though, it was lame as it could get," Zane explained and laughed.

"You really shouldn't have gone that far in the first place. Well, it's also their fault for being lame and useless," The guy replied as he walked in a fancy way.

"What are you doing?" Zane asked his friend.

"Before you maestro!" The guy poses as he tries to make Zane laugh.

"Stupid idiot, you look like a dumb chihuahua right now," Zane laughs and enters the gate of the school.

"How fun was it to kick those lame kids anyway? I didn't experience it," the guy curiously asked.

"It felt great," Zane gratefully said.

As the two walks in the corridor of the school, everybody else makes their way and tries to avoid hitting or bumping on them. 

Everyone proceeded with their normal day, while people avoided Zane to avoid getting in a mess.

Going home, Zane bumps into an old beggar. The beggar drops to his feet after bumping.

Frustrated, disgusted, and annoyed, Zane shouts at the beggar, "watch where you're going, old man! Argh, dirty, greasy, homeless man."

"Watch….your..mouth young man, you should treat your elders with respect," the old man said, stuttering on every word.

"You're my elder? No, you're a dirty beggar. I don't know why I'm wasting my time with you," Zane replied in a mean, disrespectful way.

"One day, you'll feel what it's like to be a beggar and weak like me," the beggar replied firmly, with no stutters this time.

"Whatever, I'm the son of a rich man, I can never go poor like you," Zane said as he walked away.

"Dirty bastard, who does he think he is? To talk back to a son of a millionaire like that. Curse him." Zane thought.

Zane walks inside a grocery store to grab some snacks before he gets home.

On the counter, Zane seems to notice a long line. Instead of waiting for it to finish, he just walks into the front and throws money that's 2 times worth what he is gonna buy, and says "keep the change," as he walks away.

...

Zane got home safely, and a few minutes later someone knocked on his door.

He slowly walks into the door and opens it, while rubbing his eyes, he says "what do you want?"

He sees a gun pointed at him and he panics as he drops to the floor, "what do you want? Money? I have a ton in here if that's all you want!"

The man slowly walks towards him, "I'm already good on money. I want a message," the man says as he shoots Zane rapidly, killing him mercilessly.
