POV Lance

I smiled at the angry glare I received from Troy. If he thought that I was going to back down now that I was so close to Samantha, he had another thing coming. I didn't blame him though, if she was my sister, I would have been just as bad if not worse. She was a treasure and I was glad that she had a family and pack that understood that.

Of course, that meant that I had to work that much harder to prove that I would treat her the way she should be treated. She should always be treated as the Goddess that she is. I smirked when I spotted her rolling her eyes at her brother's glare. He scoffed in return but then went back to eating.

I looked over at Sammy in awe. That kiss we shared was beyond incredible. She was everything I could ever want. Strong, sweet, smart, and beautiful both inside and out. I was going to do anything and everything I could to be worthy of her.
