POV Samantha
Mom knocked on my bedroom door as I looked into mirror helplessly. I had showered and done my hair and makeup but none of the outfits Mom packed seemed right. This was our first date and I really wanted it to go well.
"Come in!" I called and she entered but paused when she looked at me.
She smiled at my face but frowned when she saw that I was still in my robe.
"I have nothing to wear!" I whined and she giggled.
"Don't worry. I have the perfect dress and shoes." she announced and rushed back out.
She returned a few moments later with a grin, holding a red dress that was stunning.
"Really?" I asked and she nodded.
"I bought this the other day but I think that it will look better on you." she grinned and I hugged her.
