Chapter 17

Lana's case wasn't a simple one which was why she had to stay at the hospital for a very long time. During this period Lana had a lot of trouble getting over her child's death, sometimes she would wake up crying and Xander would take care of her.  

The night before her discharge from the hospital, Lana was once again trapped in her own paranoia as she slept. Her fingers that were resting by her side clenched the bed sheet, digging deep into it. Lana was soaked in a cold sweat and she could feel acute hollowness and pain in her stomach. The familiar feeling of something precious slipping through her fingers coursed in her body, she could hear the taunts and jeers that others shot at her after she lost her child. 

" you bloody money-sucking leech, you fell down the stairs by yourself and still tried to implicate my Ella in it? How can you be so scheming ?"

" she is such an evil woman, even a devil doesn't harm innocent children yet she...sigh, the child
