Chapter 2

Lana cried for an hour before she picked herself up from the floor , she still felt like sobbing after all , collecting  all those grievances  from her past life , how could she not cry?  How can an hour of sobbing completely free her of her pain?

For twelve whole years Lana suffered, not an year went by when she didn't suffered under Ella or Xander  . 

Wrapping the blanket  around her ,she slowly crawled her way into the bathroom.  It was her first time yet Xander  treated her worse than those whores who did such things every day . He was simply  ruthless! 

For an hour Lana trapped herself in the bathroom , unlike her past self; she didn't needed anyone's help to know   how things worked in this high class bathroom of Xander . She was afterall the child  of a supposed to be mistress , that biological father of her's;hated her guts . How can he treat her nicely,?  Under her father's negligence and her step mother and step sister's influence , Lana suffered so much that she grew introvert and timid . When she married Xander  in her previous life, she had no idea how to use these modern applications . Left with no choice ; she called one of the maids to help her.This was a mistake ; even if she was a mistress child ,she was after all the daughter of a company 's Ceo . How could a rich mistress not know such things? That maid helped her but she had a large mouth , within a day , the entire King household knew that their new daughter in law was an incapable young lady .

Lana sighed as she dried herself; She was really a fool in her past life .How could she do such things so carelessly? Now that she thinks about it , calling for a maid just for taking a bath was seriously too much .

She covered herself with a fluffy bathrobe and opened her wardrobe . And slowly her expression  changed, each and every dress was of high class ; with a certain brand logo on it but they were too classy and elegant .These dresses would look good on someone who was in her late twenties but for Lana  to wear such dresses , it will be a nightmare .Afterall Lana was still eighteen years old ; a mere college student . How could such elegant dresses be suitable for her? If she wore such a dress , it will look like that she was trying too hard .

In her previous life, Lana had worn one of these , not only did she wore a rather mature colour but she also applied makeup that was too mature for her age . The result? Every one including her husband scorned her .

Sure enough Ella had really brainstormed for laying traps for her . 

Sighing; Lana picked her cellphone and called her sister in law , Eva . Eva was the only one apart from her mother in law and grandfather in law  , who didn't hated Lana in the King  household. Previously, she was too naive and believed everything others told and thus  ,she believed that Eva was trying to wedge a grudge between husband and wife .But she was only trying to help Lana .

Lana shook her head , she truly was an idiot. 

After three rings the phone was picked up and Lana greeted Eva king .

"Hello, Eva  , are you up?" 

From the other side of the phone Eva gave a bitter scolding to Lana  for waking her so soon, but altogether she agreed to bring what Lana asked for .

Within ten minutes Eva arrived.

"Yo , Elder sister in law, how was your wedding night ?" 

Eva teased Lana as soon as the door closed .

"My husband is not even with me , on our first day as married couple , how do you think it went?" 

Lana smiled and spoke .

Truthfully; she was trying to gain Eva sympathy .Afterall no one in this house hold can help her in need except Eva  , thus , Lana needed Eva  to be at her side at all cost .

Sure enough with Lana pitiful state and her weak smile , Eva felt a sudden surge of protecting her elder sister in law . 

"So why did you ask me to bring so many clothes for you? Didn't that pretentious bitch filled your wardrobe with branded clothes ? Because I'm sure she made herself a part pf wedding preparations by saying that she wants to help you adjust " 

Eva really hated Ella , she was a woman and she of course knew what hid behind that magnanimous mask of her's .

"Look for yourself " Lana didn't say anything and decided to pick a simple beige dress .It was simple but suited her age , thankfully she had Eva all else she would once again be made fun off .

She got ready within fifteen minutes but when she  left the bathroom ,she found that Eva  had taken every piece of clothing from her wardrobe and was muttering angrily .

"That bitch is sure talented! To think of such an excellent scheme, if you had no fashion sense ,you would have certainly become a joke, Lana " 

Eva considered Lana as her friend thus she wasn't afraid of saying her mind in front of Lana.

"Mhmm" at Eva  's angry diatribe , Lana could only silently agree .

"Hmph , let's go we are late for breakfast, let's see what new scheme that bitch has planned for you "
