Chapter 3

Lana and Eva  made their way to the dining room and as expected Ella was seated beside Xander . If Lana was her past self she would have immediately thrown a tantrum and would have definitely asked Ella to get up from her seat in a rather rude manner because Xander was her husband , what right did Ella have to seat beside her husband? 

But Lana was no longer her past naive self; she was fully aware of her place in Xander' sheart . But Xander wasn't alone now, she too doesn't care about Him anymore .

Thus, Lana sat beside her mother in law instead sitting beside Xander  . This act of her's  surprised every one , previously Lana had clinged to Xander  before they got married but now she wasn't even looking at him much less wish her husband?

Lana however didn't care about anyone else and only wished her mother in law , Mia King  and Grandpa Cabel . Other than the two elders , Lana didn't even looked at any other King family member .

Afterall , she was clear of the hatred the other two younger brothers of Xander held for her . In their eyes Ella was the rightful wife of Xander's and as for Ella she wasn't even a family member, if Lana wasn't giving any face to her brother in laws , why would she show any face to Ella? 

Mia looked at her daughter in law but she didn't find any faults with her, the young lady had tried to gain her brother in laws affection but all she recieved were some scathing retorts and taunts . Thus, in Mia King's eyes , Lana 's action were appropriate. If Lana greeted , Aaron king  or Harold King  , and recieved an ugly response then everything will turn awkard . As for Xander, Mia had nothing to say for her elder son . He had high IQ but had low EQ , thus , he was simply being fooled by Ella  . Mia was a woman in her late fifty's , she has of course seen a lot of  woman like Ella and she knew Ella's intentions . 

Therefore,she never agreed to Ella and Xander  's marriage but this son of her's was sure stubborn , even after getting married he wasn't leaving any face for his new wife .

Now that he wasn't giving Lana any face , who was Mia to ask that Lana greet her husband? Xander asked for this ! 

Xander's left eye twitched; which happened when he was extremely angry but he couldn't say anything after all he was having breakfast with his past lover right in front of his new wife , compared to him , Lana's action of not greeting anyone except his grandpa and mom wasn't over the top .

Aaron  and Harry were shocked , Lana 's sudden change was too overwhelming for them .

Even Ella was shocked , not only Lana wasn't wearing one of those classic dresses that she bought for her but she wasn't showing any face to anyone! 

Eva however felt that this action of Lana was extremely right and she openly  patted Lana's hand which in turn made the faces of four people black .

"Let's eat " Grandpa Cabel felt that the atmosphere was turning bad thus he hurriedly called for the maids to serve breakfast .

But instead of simple dishes , the maids returned with an Italian pasta dish , called Carbonara and Grilled Caesar salad . 

Lana 's expression turned cold even Eva threw a contemptuous glare at Ella . Mia  and Grandpa Cable  smile stiffened and they looked at Ella with questioning eyes .

"I , I asked the kitchen to prepare something that Xander liked , after all Xander had studied in Italy for so long and he loves eating pasta for breakfast. I just wanted , Miss Lana to know of Xander's preferences " When Ella saw that everyone except the King brothers were looking at her , she hurried to explain herself .

Lana sneered when she heard Ella 's words only Xander would treat this woman so nicely  .In such a round About way she claimed her relationship with Xander in front of Lana and told her that even if Lana married Xander , the person who knew him best was her .

Mia and Grandpa Cabel forced a smile while Eva snorted .

" Thank you , Miss Rhodes " Lana thanked Ella with simple words unlike Ella  she no longer treated Xander as her precious treasure , if Ella wants she can have Xander for herself . To Lana apart from earning loads of money nothing else mattered . Hence, she wasn't going to waste any words with Ella. 

She picked her fork and swirled a small bite size amount of pasta and ate it with elegant movements. Every one at the table was stunned , Ella was so furious that her knuckles turned white while holding the fork .

She had deliberately chosen such a difficult dish, she knew that Lana was a bastard and had no proper etiquette teaching , then why was that bastard eating with such smooth moves? 

Surprise flashed in Xander 's eyes as he looked at his new wife , truthfully he didn't hate his wife because she was a mistress child but he was the leader of King household , a matriach of King  household could never be a foolish and mannerless woman .When Lana ate in proper manner , Xander was pleasantly surprised and had a small smile on his face , looks like this new liitle wife of his had manu tricks up her sleeves .

Xander's smile caught Ella's attention and the latter started to hate Lana even more .

Ella  was sure funny , not only did she schemed against Lana but she also expected Lana to fall in her scheme . If the latter didn't fall in her trap , then she was considered hateful? 

In half an hour Every one finished their break fast and Lana  grabbed her back pack . In her past life she has given up her education because she considered  herself as the King household future matriarch , not to mention Ella worked together with Xander setting Lana  's teeths on edge but this time Lana  will certainly not do something so stupid .

This second life ; she was going to earn a name for herself
