15. ARE YOU GOOD?

A few minutes after Benhail left the room, Emery's phone began to beep and she rushed to get it from the bed. Amery told her she was waiting in the living room with Lola.

"No way!" Emery screamed and ran out of the room before the door shut. She was glad the door took time to close, she hurried through the hallway and down to the living room. She saw her sister and best friend seated comfortably on the couch, she burst out with joy and ran to hurl them into an embrace. "Oh my God! Oh, my G! Oh, my G!" She shrieked over and over again. "You guys didn't tell me you'd come over."

"I didn't miss you, Amery did, she's been dying to see you and know how you are fairing," Lola spoke up, crunching the crackers Agnes served them.

"Oh, my," Emery stared at her twin sister. She looked so healthy, healthier than she'd been in years. Emery was glad, she took Amery's hands in hers. "How have you been?"
