Seranda’s pov

Mckenny’s question was rather directed at me and not my brother. My looks could only betray me, I wasn't told, I had found out about my miserable existence through visions, or dreams whatever the trance that pulled me to the past was.

‘’Oh no…don't tell me you haven't told my brother-in-law that you are the cure to his dying sister?”’ Cirenda’s menacing voice echoed through the solace of the night, sending a biting frost into my guts. Just how much did he know? How invested was he? I am only getting to find out my origin and true form, but my supposed opponent is well-prepared.

‘’Why didn't you tell me, Renda? You know I will always reach out to you as long as you do the same”’’ yes Renda, a name we called each other, a name we shared before birth. Despite my brother being all evil, there is always a flash of recognition whenever I call him that. His eyes curl in a small smile just for a few seconds, anyone would miss it if not careful.
