ISABELLA’S POV

The first week back in the United States feels like stepping into a half-remembered dream. The house Sofia helped me find is warm and spacious, with a small garden where Liam and Lila can run and play. My twins are adjusting faster than I expected. Liam, with his father’s dark hair and intense eyes, already claims the biggest toy truck as his own. Lila, bright and curious, follows me everywhere, clutching her favorite stuffed bear.

I visit my father the second day. He looks frail in the hospital bed, the debt I once married to clear now replaced by illness. He reaches for my hand with tears in his eyes.

“You came back,” he whispers.

“For you,” I reply softly. I do not mention the twins yet. Not until he is stronger. Not until I am ready.

My career as a Financial Analyst has opened doors here too. I have meetings scheduled with old contacts and new investors interested in my debt-relief platform. The work keeps me busy during the day, but the nights are harder. Once the twins are asleep, the memories return.

The intensity of those early days after the drug. The way everything between us felt consuming. The way he filled me again and again, deep in my womb, until I carried his children. The silence that followed when truth mattered most. Those nights felt like fire. Now they feel like ghosts.

I touch my stomach, thinking of the two lives that grew from those passionate, reckless nights. He never knew. He never will, if I can help it.

ETHAN’S POV

Three years, and one airport sighting is enough to unravel my control. I know she is back in the country. I saw her with my own eyes. Yet she has made no contact, and my attempts to reach her through Sofia and her father have yielded nothing useful.

I sit in my office staring at the latest report from my security team. There is no confirmed address or recent financial activity under her name. Sofia claims she does not know Isabella’s exact location and insists she is simply taking time for herself. I do not believe her.

The image of Isabella at the airport refuses to leave me. She looked strong. Independent. Beautiful in a way that hit me harder than I expected. I walked past her like she was nothing. Like I had not spent months buried inside her, claiming every inch of her body until she screamed my name and fainted from pleasure.

I stand at the window with whiskey in my hand, the city lights blurring below me. The penthouse feels larger and emptier with each passing day. The silence presses on me like a heavy rock. I remember the quiet competence with which she once managed this space. The way conversations once lingered here. The way the distance between us sometimes felt smaller in private moments.

I remember the way her tight cunt gripped my thick cock when I pounded into her. The obscene sounds of her squirting while I ate her for hours. How perfectly she took me in every position.

My cock hardens at the memories of her on her knees, looking up at me with those dark eyes as I fucked her throat. I nearly cum, rather I let out a low groan, filled with only frustration.

She is back. And I cannot stop thinking about her.

I pour another whiskey and stare at the city lights. I will continue my search for her. I will find her. But part of me wonders what I will do when I do.

ISABELLA’S POV

The days settle into a careful routine. Mornings are for the twins ... breakfast, playtime, teaching them simple words. Afternoons are for work and hospital visits with my father. He is improving slowly, but the doctors remain cautious. I still have not told him about Liam and Lila. The timing never feels right.

One evening, after putting the twins to bed, Sofia comes over with wine and takeout. We sit on the couch like old times.

“He saw me at the airport,” I tell her quietly. “He looked right through me. Ignored me completely.”

Sofia raises an eyebrow. “Good. That means he didn’t see the kids.”

I nod, relief and a strange ache mixing in my chest. “He has no idea. And I want to keep it that way. The twins are mine. They don’t need a father who treated their mother like a temporary habit after the drug wore off.”

Sofia squeezes my hand. “You’re doing the right thing. Focus on your career and those beautiful babies. You’ve built something incredible in three years.”

I smile, but later that night I lie awake, hand on my stomach, remembering the night Ethan first took me after the drug. The raw hunger. The way he lost control and claimed me in every room. The passion that felt so real in the moment but proved hollow in the end.

ETHAN’S POV

Another week passes with no new leads. My team is frustrated. I am more so. It is as if she doesn't go to the hospital to visit her father because she has'nt

I stand in the guest room again, picking up a silk robe she left behind. It still carries the faintest trace of her vanilla scent. My body reacts instantl when I press the fabric to my face, remembering how she rode me in this very room, her breasts bouncing as I sucked them raw. How she let me tie her wrists and fuck her senseless until she collapsed.

I need to find her. Not just to close the chapter, but because the thought of her out there, living without me, is becoming unbearable.

I will turn over every stone in this country until I find the woman who once fit so perfectly in my arms.

ISABELLA’S POV

The weeks turn into a month. My father improves enough to come home. I finally introduce him to his grandchildren. The look on his face when he meets Liam and Lila is worth every sacrifice. He cries. I cry. The twins charm him instantly.

Life feels fuller. My startup gains traction. Investors are interested and I am building something real.

Yet late at night, when the house is quiet, I still remember Ethan and the cold indifference in his eyes. The way he pretended I did not exist.

“We are better off without you.”

But a small part of me wonders if he ever thinks of me at all.

ISABELLA’S POVMy bilogical clock wakes me up before the twins as usual. And for a moment, the unfamiliar ceiling confuses me. Then the events of the previous day returns to me in a rush. I turn my head and look at Liam that is still asleep on the other side of me. Their steady breathing is the only thing that feels familiar in this place.I carefully extract myself from the bed and stand. My body feels heavy from tension and lack of proper rest. I smooth the covers around the children, before walking quietly to the window. The city is already awake and I am sure that Ethan is awake somewhere, he has always been an early riser.I need coffee. And I need a plan. When I step into the hallway, the scent of food assaults me. I follow the scent to the kitchen and stop in the doorway. There is Ethan standing at the stove, with his sleeves rolled up, cooking eggs and toast. He looks up immediately he senses me.“They’re still asleep,” I say.He nods. “I figured they would be. I made breakfas

ETHAN’S POVHere I am standing inside the bedroom with the key still closed in my fist while facing Isabella blazing eyes, I can see her chest rising and falling as she barely control her fury. The argument has left both of us angry and tired. Her last demand ... that I open the door so she can go to the children ... hangs in the air between us.Lila’s small voice calls out to her again from down the hall, follows by Liam’s more serious tone asking where Mommy went. The sound of their voice cuts through my last resolve.I look at Isabella, then at the door, then back at her. Without another word, I step past her, unlock the door, and pull it open. I walk out into the hallway and close the door behind me, though I do not lock it this time. I still need the barrier. I need a moment to breathe before I do something worse and she needs to calm down.I lean against the wall just outside the bedroom, listening to the muffled sounds of her moving inside the room. My pulse is still running to

ISABELLA’S POVImmediately these words leave his mouth.Something inside me snaps.I stare at him, the residual shock of the last hour still buzzing under my skin. The soft voices of the twins in the room down the hall drift faintly through the partially open door. That sound is the only thing keeping me from completely losing my shit.“You don’t get to decide that,” I say, my voice shaking with fury. “You don’t get to take my children from their school like some kind of .... and then announce that we’re staying under your roof.”Ethan stands near the large windows, with his sleeves rolled up, and his expression controlled. Well too controlled.“I have every right. They’re mine. I ran a test and it was confirmed.”“That doesn’t give you the right to ambush me.” I take a step closer to him, my hands clenched. “You didn’t call me. You didn’t ask me. You just sent people to watch my house, and grab the kids DNA without my knowledge, and then you walked into their school and pulled them.

ETHAN’S POVThe updated surveillance report lands on my desk just after nine in the morning. I open the file looked into it and a bomb goes of in my head.Inside the file are clear photographs of two small children. A boy with dark hair and a serious expression and a girl with soft curls and a bright smile. Both of them are approximately two years old. The timestamps show them leaving the house with Isabella in the mornings. One image captures the boy holding a toy truck. Another shows the girl clutching a stuffed bear.I stare at the photos for a long time while checking my timeline. The timeline almost matches perfectly. Two years and a few months. Exactly the right age. But I can't be sure.I do not call her or drive to her house. Rather I give some new instructions to my security team.“I need some DNA samples. Get it discreetly From both children. Use whatever access that is necessary school, daycare, discarded items. I want results as fast as possible. Priority processing.”My

ISABELLA’S POVThe days after the fateful encounter feels heavier than before. I keep catching myself staring into space, replaying the moment I almost told Ethan about the twins. The words had been right there, ready to spill. Only the image of Liam’s serious little face and Lila’s soft smile stopped me. I cannot afford another mistake. The always smart Sofia notices my state of mind immediately. She begins to watch me carefully during our evening tea, her expression growing more concerned with each passing day.“You’re not okay,” she says. “Whatever is happening with Ethan is eating you alive.”I try to wave it off, but she doesn’t believe me. The next morning, without telling me, she takes matters into her own hands.ETHAN’S POVSofia walks into my office without an appointment with fire on her ass. ETHAN’S POV The morning after the club, I leave Isabella’s house as promised, but the unease stays with me. Something is wrong. The way she looked when she opened the door, ... she is angry, yes, but she is also panicking... keeps replaying in my head. It is like she is hiding something. I call the head of my security the moment I get into the car. “I want discreet eyes on the house. Round the clock. Do not contact them. Just observe. I want to know who comes and goes, and if anything unusual appears.” The order is given. Within hours, the surveillance is put in place. Julian meets me for lunch later that day. The moment he sees my face, he starts laughing. “You look like a man who got exactly what he wanted and still managed to fuck it up,” he says, dropping into the seat across from me. “She ran again, didn’t she?” I don’t answer. Julian leans forward, grinning. “You’re watching the house now, aren’t you? Good. Stop giving her space. Your pride already cost you three years. K
