LOGINElena’s POV
“Leon…” my voice cracked, my chest aching.
His eyes locked onto mine, and my wolf whimpered.
“Elena…” he whispered, pain written all over his face.
Tears welled in my eyes, my heart breaking all over again.
Kael’s hand tightened into a fist. His jaw ticked.
Leon took a step forward.
I quickly broke eye contact, swallowing hard.
Kael’s arm suddenly wrapped around my waist.
“What…Kael?” I whispered, startled.
“Stay close,” he muttered sharply.
Before Leon could reach me, Kael pulled me firmly toward the stage.
“Wait…where are you taking me?” I asked, confused.
“Where you belong,” Kael replied in a low tone.
We stood on the stage, all eyes on us.
The hall grew silent.
Kael’s deep voice boomed.
“Welcome, alphas and betas. Tonight, we are gathered to discuss the danger of Cassian and the possible alliances among our packs.”
Murmurs rose among the crowd.
“Who is she?”
“She’s so beautiful.”
“Could she be his mate?”
Kael’s lips curved. He pulled me closer, holding me intimately.
“She is my second-chance mate,” Kael announced boldly. “The Moon Goddess blessed me with her. She means everything to me.”
Gasps echoed in the hall.
“What?” I turned to him sharply, anger rising. “Kael!”
He ignored me, his eyes deliberately finding Leon’s.
I clenched my fists, heat flooding my cheeks.
“You promised me time,” I snapped under my breath.
Kael smirked, leaning closer.
“Time is up, sweetheart.”
“You can’t just…”
“I can. And I did.” His voice was smug.
I shoved his arm off me. “Don’t touch me!”
The crowd whispered louder.
“She’s furious?”
“She’s angry?”
“Elena…” Kael reached out again.
“No!” I hissed, glaring at him. “You don’t get to decide for me.”
Kael’s voice dropped low. “You’re mine whether you like it or not.”
“I’m not yours to claim!” I shot back.
“Watch me,” he growled.
“And watch me walk away,” I fired back.
And with that, I stormed out of the hall, my heart pounding in rage.
Kael’s amused chuckle followed me.
Outside, I tried to calm myself, but my breaths came hard.
“Well, well, well…” a smooth flirty voice interrupted.
I turned sharply. A tall, handsome man stood there, a playful smile on his lips.
“Who are you?” I demanded.
He bowed slightly. “Beta Zane, at your service. Loyal beta of Alpha Kael.”
I frowned. “I’ve never seen you before.”
His grin widened. “Maybe Kael kept me away on purpose.”
“What?”
“Because he knew I’d like you the moment I saw you.”
My brows furrowed.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me,” he teased, stepping closer.
I stiffened. “Don’t come closer.”
He tilted his head, eyes twinkling. “Why not?”
“Because you’re looking at me weird.”
“Not weird,” he said smoothly. “Admiring.”
I scoffed. “You’re unbelievable.”
“Honest,” he countered.
“Stop staring.”
“I can’t.” His eyes softened. “You’re too beautiful.”
I froze, caught off guard.
My wolf chuckled inside. Another man?
I broke eye contact quickly. “You’re ridiculous.”
He chuckled. “You’re blushing.”
“I am not!” I snapped.
“You are,” he teased.
“Don’t test me,” I warned.
“Relax,” he said easily. “I’m harmless.”
“Somehow I doubt that,” I muttered.
“Good instincts,” he winked.
Before I could reply, a strong hand suddenly grabbed mine.
“Elena.”
My heart stopped. Leon.
His grip was firm, his face unreadable.
“Come with me,” he ordered, pulling me away.
“Leon…let me go!” I struggled.
He ignored me, dragging me around the corner.
“Stop it!” I shouted. “You can’t just drag me like this!”
He pinned me against the wall.
“Leon!”
“Listen to me,” he said roughly, his voice breaking. “I can’t sleep, Elena. I can’t eat. I can’t breathe without you.”
I froze, shocked. “What?”
His eyes burned into mine. “I messed up. I was blind. But please… come back to me.”
“Leon…” I whispered, stunned.
“You’ll be my Luna,” he vowed desperately. “I’ll give you everything. Just come back.”
My chest tightened, my mind spinning.
“You’re lying,” I said shakily.
“I’m not,” Leon whispered. He cupped my cheek gently. “You feel it too. Don’t deny it.”
I swallowed hard. “Stop.”
His thumb brushed my lips. “Elena…”
“Leon, don’t…”
He leaned closer, our faces inches apart.
My heart raced.
“Just one kiss,” he whispered.
I pushed him away with all my strength. “Go to hell, Leon!”
“Elena…”
“I don’t want you!” I shouted, tears streaming. “You told me never to show my face in front of you. And I won’t. So don’t you dare come near me again!”
His chest heaved. “Don’t say that…”
“I mean it.” My voice shook with rage. “Stay away from me.”
“Elena, please,” he begged. “I can’t lose you.”
“You already did,” I spat.
“Elena…”
“No!” I cut him off. “Don’t touch me again!”
His hands trembled as he reached. “I love…”
A deep, dangerous voice cut through the air.
“No one touches my mate.”
My blood ran cold.
Kael.
His presence filled the space, his aura suffocating.
Leon turned slowly, a mocking smirk spreading on his lips.
“Kael,” Leon drawled. “How nice of you to join.”
Kael’s eyes blazed. “Step away from her.”
Leon chuckled darkly, his hand still half-raised toward me.
“Why would I?” Leon’s voice was low, taunting. “She’s mine.”
Kael’s fists clenched. “Not anymore.”
Leon leaned closer to me deliberately, his smirk wicked.
“She’s mine,” Leon whispered with venom. “And she will always be mine.”
Kael’s growl rumbled. “Say that again.”
Leon sneered. “She’s mine.”
“She chose me,” Kael snapped.
“I never chose you!” I burst out.
Both froze, turning to me.
“Elena…” Leon started.
“Elena…” Kael said at the same time.
“Shut up, both of you!” I shouted, tears burning. “I’m not a trophy you can fight over.”
Kael’s jaw flexed. “You’re my mate. That’s not up for debate.”
Leon’s eyes softened. “You were mine first. That bond doesn’t break.”
Kael stepped forward, voice sharp. “Try me.”
Leon smirked. “Gladly.”
Suddenly, Leon was right in front of me. His hand gripped the back of my neck, pulling me close, and in an instant, his lips crashed onto mine.
“This is only the beginning, love,” Kael rasped, his voice thick with affection, hips rolling slow so his cock dragged through the sloppy mess he’d already left inside me. He pinched my nipples again, and I moaned like a whore.“Fuck, do that again. He twisted harder, rolled them between his rough fingers until they throbbed. “These pretty nipples are begging for my mouth, aren’t they?”“Yes… please…”He lifted me off his cock with a filthy wet sound and a river of cum poured out, running hot down my thighs. I whimpered, empty and aching. He spread me open with two fingers, watching it drip. “Look at your greedy little pussy pushing my load out. You want more already?”“Put it back in me,” I begged, reaching for him. “I need you inside me right now.”He stood, spun me, and shoved my front flat to the cold cave wall. My tits smashed against rough stone, nipples scraping, and I cried out.“Spread your legs wider, love.”I did, feet sliding apart, my back arched deep, and my ass out.
WARNING — MATURE CONTENT AND UNCENSORED DIALOGUE INCLUDED!!!I stared at the pile of rocks where the entrance used to be and my brain completely short-circuited.“What the fuck. What the actual fuck. The cave just collapsed. We’re trapped. We’re literally trapped!” I started pacing like a lunatic, hands in my hair. “How do we get out? Somebody tell me how the hell we get out of here! There’s no air vent, there’s no nothing, oh my goodness we're gonna die here…”I yanked my phone out, waved it around like an idiot. “No signal. Of course there’s no fucking signal!”Kael was just sitting on a flat rock, his legs spread, elbows on his knees, looking annoyingly calm.I whipped around. “You’re just gonna sit there? Seriously? We’re buried alive and you’re chilling?”He sighed, closed his eyes for a second, then opened them. “They’ll find us, Elena. Relax, love.”“Relax? Relax?!” I laughed like a maniac. “Sure, I’ll just relax while we slowly run out of oxygen.”He tilted his head. “By t
Zane leaned closer and I felt the heat of his breath on my face. My hands shot up, pressing against his chest, ready to push him away, but he didn’t budge. Instead, his hand cupped my cheek, his large thumb brushing gently over my skin.“Just… accept me, Elena,” he whispered. “Please. I’ll be anything you want me to be.”What the hell is he doing? I thought, panic rising in my chest. His lips were so close I could feel the faint warmth. “L-leave…” I started, my voice trembling. Then I heard a deep, furious voice… “ZANE!”I paused, and when I turned, my stomach dropped. Kael was standing there, and I realized in a split second that Zane hadn’t moved at all. Wait… isn’t he a Beta? Under the Alpha?Zane tilted my chin up so our eyes met, and in the next instant, Kael moved faster than I could track. His hand shot out, lifting Zane by the wrist to make him stand. Zane didn’t flinch, didn’t apologize, didn’t even look scared. Then Kael’s fist connected with Zane’s face. He staggered
“Let the Nocturnal Gauntlet begin.”Kael’s voice thundered through the arena, and the entire crowd roared. My heart pounded, not because of fear but because his eyes lingered on me for a second longer than they should have. He stepped down from the stage, his shoulders tense. The elder immediately took his place and raised his staff.“First round! Livia and Mara!”Two girls I’d never seen walked forward, both armed with swords. The moment the elder dropped his hand, their swords clashed so aggressively that I actually flinched. Their blades screamed, their feet scraped brutally against the floor, and within seconds one girl slammed the other into the ground with a force that made the crowd gasp.A hot breath brushed the back of my ear.“Getting scared already, little maid?”I spun and found Nyra behind me, looking annoyingly gorgeous in a dark red outfit that hugged her proud posture. Her lips curved into a mocking smile.“You look nervous. Don’t worry. I’ll try not to break your en
The last firework faded above me and I whispered, “I have to see him now. I have to.”I didn’t even think. I just ran.My heart was racing and all I kept repeating in my mind was, I can’t resist this anymore… I want him… I want to touch him again… I’m done pretending. When I reached his chambers, Kael was outside, staring at the sky with this nervous, lost expression. He looked like someone who had been waiting for a miracle. Then he saw me.He stiffened, shocked for a second, and then his entire face lit up with something that hit me so hard in the chest I almost stumbled. I stopped running and stood there like an idiot, breathing hard, staring at him.We didn’t say anything. Our eyes said everything. He walked straight to me, faster with every step, grabbed my face, and kissed me. Hard. Hungry. Like he’d been starving for days.It lasted only a moment but my knees were already giving out.He pulled back, still holding my cheeks, brushing my skin with his thumb.“Thank you, Elena… I
ELENA.I glared at Nyra, turned around, and walked away before I stabbed her with my words again. Her stupid smirk was still behind me, but I didn’t stop. I just moved faster. As soon as I stepped into the courtyard, I saw Ethan walking toward me. He looked so clean, so calm, and so handsome that my brain paused for a second. He smiled softly. “Elena… where have you been? I haven’t seen you for days.”“I should be the one asking that,” I replied. “Where were you hiding?”He didn’t answer. He just took my hand gently and led me toward a bench under one of the old stone arches. We sat, and he reached into his pocket.“Elena… I brought something.”“What is…”He opened his palm.My mouth fell open. “No way.” My hands flew to my mouth. “Ethan… is that…?”He nodded slowly. “Your necklace.”“The one from the pool?” I stared at him, shocked. “How did you…? That pool is so deep. Kael threw it so far in.”“I know,” Ethan said. He leaned a little closer. “I found it. I searched the entire bottom
