His eyes did not leave me, I was sure he must have suspected who I was as he fixed his gaze on me. There was something about his eyes…they instilled, in me, the same frosty feeling as that of the green-eyed wolf.

WAYNE’S POV

I would not cap it. This Fire-pall Tower was so big, lofty, and spacious that it was able to contain the crowd that clustered in and out of it. I made my way along the passage, through the path that all the servants, who passed me, followed.

They still did not spare me the long and surprised stares they gave me. I was so sure they were yet to know who I was and were just surprised to see a total stranger freely walking along one of the upper hallways of the Tower without restriction.

I turned to the staircase, a groan escaping my lips as I ran my way up the steps, but boy was it so tiring that it got to a point where my speed demented and I had to support myself with the banister.
