CHAPTER VI: SECRETS AND MISCHIEFS

“THEY ARE coming, Nero. Many of them.”

As if on cue, a couple of fast movements from far away filled my ears. My crimson-red eyes widened in realization. I know very well where that came from and I can’t be wrong.

“We need to get out of here. Quick.” The fear in my voice is evident, but the urge to hurry them is greater.

“What is happening?” And I was the only one not getting it.

My forehead creased in mixed emotions and confusion. “I do not know you.”
