001 - A Beta's Fate, An Alpha's Destiny

Another full moon, another boring night. At least before, Alpha Riley and Gamma Sebastian were still unmated, which meant I got to be their company during a full moon. We would drink ourselves until the wee hours of the morning and proceed to work the next day with just an hour or two of sleep.

Life was simple. But then they got mated. Their full moons were now fully booked, leaving me alone on my own.

So what’s a single man got to do? I followed the Alpha’s advice and went out, trying to ease the annoyance of being the only one left unmated residing at the packhouse. I tried to find something fun for tonight, but it was still futile. I didn’t even have an ounce of enjoyment. I got bored watching people dance too close to each other inside the bar like there was no tomorrow.

There were some who approached me, but for some reason, no one looked interesting. Besides, I am not the one-night-stand type of guy. It was more of Gamma Sebastian - at least before he met Jenny.
