It was as though the temperature in the room plunged down to sub-zero levels at the mention of that name.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Talon growled in a low tone, his formerly glazed eyes now clear and alert as he stared at Maya through thick lashes.

Maya seemed to notice the change in the atmosphere.

As someone who worked closely with Scar, of course Talon would recognize the name and know the importance that it holds.

Giddy with excitement, she leaned forward and stared deep into the man's watery brown eyes.
