Danny P.O.V

I leaned against the doorway of the apparatus bay and watched both her and the sunrise for a few seconds as I took everything in. I was tempted to take a picture just so I could stay in the moment a little longer but I didn’t, luckily, I had a good memory so I would be able to come back to this moment in my mind as many times as I wanted. I stood up and straightened myself out so I was no longer in the doorway, as I began getting more and more closer to her I started to see more and more of her face. I could see that she had been crying, she still was but it seemed that they were just a few droplets right about now. She didn’t look like she was in a talking mood and in all honesty, neither was I but I couldn’t just leave her there all alone crying.

I sighed before grabbing the nearest chair from the squad table rolling it right beside her and sat down. From the way she looked at me, she hadn’t even noticed my presence until I sat down. Without saying a word I looked up a
