Mia's POV:

I nodded slowly. “Okay. I’ll do it. I'll be the best godmother this child will ever have.” I said.

Chloe smiled at me. “Thank you.”

I strangely realized that she had started to have that aura in her. The aura of a mother. She was carrying herself with that grace of someone who knew that life grew in them.

“Also, I came to tell you that I started school again. I went back to 11th grade. It was either this or I had to wait until a session was over to begin 12th grade. I think going a class lower will sort of help me catch up.”

“That's exciting news. I hope it isn't causing you too much trouble. I know how kids can be when another kid is pregnant. How are you coping with the stress?” I asked. I threw Zayn a look. He never told me Chloe was back in school.

“Not too much. And they're pretty nice about it. At least a few of them. My friends in 12th grade still hang out with me but it's a little weird. I could have been graduating this year with them if I hadn't thrown it all away

He said he'd loved it but now he didn't know how to feel.“I'm contemplating between asking you to wear it for three days straight or to take it off.” He said.I swallowed, heat traveling to the pit of my stomach and down below.
