"Someone has been following us since we left Luna." He said in a somber tone of voice.
Li Na's sleepiness was wiped out like a clean slate the moment Ernesto's meaning registered in her brain. She buried her nails in the soft skin of her palm to stop herself from twisting her neck to see whoever was following them.
"Just drive like you used to." She said in a neutral tone betraying the agitation she was feeling. She sank herself to the plush leather seat of the Cadillac and wished to disappear. She closed her eyes to hide the worries that were dancing on them. She doesn't want Ernesto to see what she's feeling.
She couldn't think of anyone that would follow her except for the person that she wished she would never see again. The last information she heard was that she was inside an asylum. She should never get out ever again. Her nails were drawing blood from the inside of her palm with how hard she sunk them.
