As we left the now-closing pub, Lee suggested that we try once more to project thoughts onto some humans, but with how quickly it was becoming deserted, we figured we would also learn how to mask our presence from those we stalked.

Naturally, I was amazing at it... and by that, I mean I got a nice bag to the face as a woman noticed me easily and although I had no impure intentions, she understandably was not happy about being followed.

Rakesh found it amusing, to the point that he was keeled over laughing.

"My lord, are you sure you've merely forgotten and are not just... the worst Ancient One I have ever seen?" Lee asked, his voice was serious but that only seemed to make Rakesh laugh all the more.

I shot the two a glare before rubbing my cheek. "Yes, yes, laugh it up, I might just go back to that rock and sleep for another thousand years," I muttered unhappily.
