I was given a chair while Owen was tied to the ceiling by his hands. His mouth was still gagged but everything else was intact. If you asked me, he got off easy. I would have done worse to him if I were the redhead. But seeing as I was at her mercy too, I didn’t speak.

I needed her help, so it is better she ignored him and got started on me.

“How long do you think this will take?” I asked.

She ignored me and kept moving around the place. Touching stuff and correcting the girls that were now sitting around in a circle. All of them were holding trays that had some weird objects on them. It looked like they were getting ready to perform a ritual. And well, I’m not really keen on being the object of those things.

“As long as it takes.” She replied, after taking her sweet time. I’d almost given up on ever getting a response from her.

“What exactly are we doing?” I said we, so she wouldn’t feel like I was dumping the work on her.
