Chapter 25 Broken Hearted

After a tiring day, my back directly collapsed on my soft bed when I got home. I let out a deep sigh as my hands were spread, and I just stared at the ceiling.

I reflect on the scenes of Lexie singing on stage. She is still excellent, nothing has changed, and she is even more attractive.

A thought came back from the dead.

I was about to try to pursue her to take back all my hurtful words, but I didn't have the chance to do so.

Lexie changed her number and her place. I have lost contact with her. That's when I thought that's maybe for the best because I didn't deserve her. It's all from the past now.

What I heard from Yuri suddenly came to my mind. Does Lexie need to use me as an excuse for that, Orio? Does she have to lie for something else? I shake my head at that idea.

She made me believe in something that I felt was true. For a moment, I deemed sorry for her, thinking I'd become so cruel to her and didn't at least stand for her feelings about me.
