I groan as I walk into the kitchen. I go into the fridge and grab out a bottle of water. I drink half of it as Luca walks into the kitchen. He lets out a soft chuckle. "How are you feeling?" I groan again as I sit on the counter.

"Suddenly I remembered as to why I don't drink wine anymore. I haven't learned when too much is enough." He chuckles as he goes into the fridge.

"I guess I probably shouldn't have accepted both of the bottles." I nod and point at him.

"Yes, this is your fault." He gasps as he turns to me.

"I did not force you into drinking them." I cross my arms.

"I told you before that I would get myself into trouble drinking wine and you said you would keep an eye on me. Filling up my glass doesn't sound like keeping an eye on me."

"Fine if you want to blame someone blame me." I smile.

"Thank you," he nods. He scratches the back of his head as he clears his throat.

    Walking around the huge library Dex had in his home, I admired his collection of books. I ran my fingers over the first-edition Shakespeare books. I held my breath, scared to breathe on them.
