After eating my meal alone since Duke did not join me as he had indicated previously, he left me with those maids who were still lining up, which I had some difficulty dismissing.

But, happily, Mr. Ash emerged and assisted me in dismissing them without problem. I was then brought to the chamber that I shall be utilizing throughout my marriage with Duke. But instead of relaxing in the room, I asked Reya if I could go to Duke's Office since I had something urgent to discuss, and she instantly sent me there, which he didn't enjoy because I was in his office.

"So, what do you want to talk about with me?" Duke questioned again, irritably interrupting what I was thinking.
