We had been dancing for however long we had been looking into each other's eyes when suddenly there was a loud applause that stopped whatever had been happening to us. Which was the sign that the song had just ended.

I was still holding Duke's body when I realized what had just happened, which surprised me. I quickly moved away from him in fear as if what had just happened had never occurred.

Duke followed suit and moved away from me as soon as I did. I was still unsure of what had happened while they were dancing back there when I saw my mother-in-law walking towards us with my father-in-law by her side.

Mother-in-law said, "Wow that dance is so beautiful dear!," gazing at both of them with tears in her eyes.
