Chapter 75

I ran to the bed and shook his body with fear coursing through my veins. My heart pounded against the walls of my chest violently as tears blurred my vision.

"What did you do, Cam?" I stammered, confused about what to do. "Oh, I said-said you weren't fine."

"Mom!" I screamed, finally finding my voice. "Mother, help!" 

I picked up the yellow pill container and read what was written on the body. The name of the drug was te–I couldn't even pronounce it, so I kept it back on the bed and went to check his pulse.
