Arriving back at their hotel room, she dropped her bag on the chair and entered the bathroom then came out in 10 minutes with a towel around her bossom, she saw him staring at her.

“What” she smiled, he took of his jacket then walked closer to her and touched her face and neck, the touch sent chills down her spine like it was laced with magic and then he kissed her lips, it was what she has been waiting for and wanted, she kissed him deeply as he dropped her towel to the floor, grabbed her and lifted her up, she kissed him like it was going to be the last, he dropped her on the bed, he kissed her down to her navel as her breath grew, he kissed her back to her breasts and then her lips, she grabbed him tightly and they had great sex through the night.

Rachael walked to her drawer and pulled out a gun, their fears heightened

“I won’t say it again” she said then cocked the gun

“Jesus” Rita jumped from the bed and ran out the room

“Please let me get my things” he requested

“What things? You ungrateful bastard! I bought every thing you wearing down to that boxers you are wearing… you are lucky I am letting you leave with that one” she said

“Rachael please” he said kneeling down with fear but Rita had ran out

“Don’t make me shoot you” she said raising the gun at him

“No wait I'm going” he said and left the room. She walked out of the room and went down to meet Rita

“Park your stuffs and get out of my house, if I come down and see you, I will dump your corpse in Lagos lagoon” she said and walked away. She made sure that they went out the gate before going back inside. She sat down in her sitting room and exhaled loudly and dropped the gun beside her. She felt a great burden lifted off her shoulder…

Maria got home and saw Max’s car parked in the compound, he was home already. She remembered she didn’t prepare anything for him before leaving the house but would he even eat it? She went into the sitting room and saw no one, she entered the kitchen and saw disposable plastic plates, she cried knowing that her man now ate his meal outside.

Going upstairs into the bedroom she met him with his laptop smiling but the smile disappeared immediately he saw her, she walked closer and without a word she knelt down beside him and rested her head on his thigh and cried

“Honey I'm so sorry” she said pleading

“I thought you would find happiness cheating on me” he finally spoke

“No baby, I would never cheat on you… never” he then turned to look at her then smiled and lifted her up then hugged her, she was surprised and happy she had her husband back

“I love you” he said and wiped her eyes then kisses her

“I love you so much” she said embracing him tightly.

Peace filled her heart that night as she silently thanked Arnold…
