AUTHOR'S POV
It's been a week since Angel almost had an abortion. Angel finds Sean back to normal. Sean is chatty, mischievous, and likes to tease her. All of that was better than Sean's loss of zest for life.
"I want to go home soon." Sean said while playing with Angel's hair.
Angel tilted her body slightly, allowing her to see Sean clearly. They were sleeping in Sean's bed. "I can't wait for that day too." Angel fiddled with the buttons of Sean's hospital pajama, then looked up. "This may sound like an exaggeration, but I already have a lot of plans for our little family."
Sean smiled, "What plan? Tell me."
"I want to build a wooden house in our backyard. It's been my dream since I was little. And I hope our kids will love playing there too." Angel chuckled embarrassed because her request sounded like a child. "I've also been looking for some good schools for Harriet. You know I'm not trying to push Harriet academically, but I still want her to g
No one ever thought Sean's health would improve so quickly. Doctor Russell, and the other doctors in charge of Sean's name were shocked. Generally, patients who are already in stage three will have difficulty with the things Sean does. Sean's weight is gradually increasing, the lump on Sean's neck is getting thinner, and many other unexpected advances. Even though Sean still needs to use a wheelchair, it's still a huge improvement. Indeed, positive thoughts have a big impact on the body's immune system. "Where's Harriet?" Sean asked via video call. Ah, Harriet has had a fever these past few days, so Sean told Angel to take care of their daughter. Harvey will come in the afternoon to look after Sean. "I really miss our princess." Of course Sean missed Harriet. Since being admitted to the hospital, he had not once seen Harriet in person, only through a video call. But the good news is that Sean is no longer sensitive when they talk about Harriet. "Harriet is painting."
"What should I wear tomorrow?" asked Anne. The mother of Sean and Harvey keeps asking the same question. Anne also opens the websites of world famous brands to find good clothes. She looked nervous after being told that her granddaughter was having a birthday. Her heart was pounding unsteadily because tomorrow would be her first meeting as a grandmother. "Harvey, is this dress good?" Ah, Harvey and Anne have been keeping Sean in the hospital the last few days. They let Angel go home to take care of Harriet. "Good, but isn't that too much?" Harvey said. "You're right. Surely my beautiful granddaughter wouldn't like it." Anne agrees with Harvey's suggestion. "Or should I buy some clothes for Angel too?" Anne whispered as if she was talking to herself. While Anne was looking for clothes, Sean and Harvey looked at each other and held back their smiles. Anne and Angel's last meeting was bad, but Anne intends to open up her feelings. Why glorify hate? It's
-Before the accident- Early in the morning Angel was already busy with cooking activities. The night before she had bought various kitchen necessities at the supermarket. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this excited. Ah, Angel's food is sure to be fresh and clean considering that what Sean consumes is very guarded. After finishing making food to take to the hospital, she continued to make a birthday cake. Red velvet cake with cream cheese. For the decoration, Angel deliberately made a decoration similar to the Pororo penguin. Angel imagined Harriet's face when she saw her cake. Surely Harriet would scream with joy saying Roro. Oh, wait. Candle. Where's the candle? "Oh, here it is." Angel puts candles on top of the birthday cake container. She looked at the results of her hard work had been arranged neatly on the dining table, so that later it would be easy to get everything into the car when they were about to leave. Angel hopes Sean and Harriet
Sean waited for Angel outside the operating room. Doctor Russell explained that Angel had to undergo emergency surgery because her condition was more severe than expected. It's been three hours everyone waiting anxiously. Anne and Harvey were in shock, as was Suki who was crying in David's arms. Meanwhile Sean could only sit in a wheelchair with a blank stare. They are busy with their own thoughts, but still hope for the same thing; Angel can survive. "Is this little girl your family?" A woman's voice interrupted the silence of the operating room. They turned their heads, and didn't realize that Harriet hadn't been with them all this time. Their minds are very messy. "Harriet!" Sean screamed in panic. "I found her in front of the automatic drink machine." A young woman hands a sleeping Harriet over to Harvey. "I just happened to see her with you in the emergency room." "Thank you." said Harvey. Harvey hands Harriet to Sean, and Sean kept mutte
Angel's eyelids trembled before fully opening. The sunlight that filled her room for three months made her dizzy. Her brow furrowed as the pain felt all over her body. Angel could hear Sean's screams. Yes, Sean immediately looked for a doctor when he realized that his girlfriend had woken up from a coma.Doctor Russell was in the hospital hallway, and quickly checked Angel's condition. Angel could only watch them. Her lips wanted to tell Sean not to cry but there was nothing she could say. What actually happened?Angel thought hard, then remembered the car accident that happened to her and Harriet. Angel's breath hitched before she managed to say, "Ha... Harriet... Where is she?"Sean took Angel's hand and kissed the top of her head, "Harriet is fine. She's at home with my mom.""Your mom?" Angel whispered. Didn't Anne hate her and Harriet?"Yes, babe. My mom has given us her blessing." Sean said, knowing Angel was confused. Angel and A
Doctor Russell's explanation was confirmed by the doctor who treated Angel. Angel's vital signs are stable and no longer need a respirator, but her body condition is still in the serious category. Angel can't go home yet. It's likely that Angel's return to the home will take longer, because now it's not only physically that's injured, her mind is also broken. After knowing her second child was dead, Angel often cried silently. In front of Sean, Angel endured it, but when Sean wasn't around she showed her depression. Recovery is far from successful. There are no significant changes, that's the results of the doctor's examination. Sean had just finished his meeting in the afternoon, and immediately picked up Harriet from Anne's house. They both are going to the hospital to see Angel. This was their routine since Angel had woken up from a coma. Sean hopes Harriet's presence can make Angel feel better. "Harriet don't run." Sean said as soon as Harriet let g
Angel had tried to commit suicide. Yes 'tried' because Angel can still be saved. Her wrist was torn deep enough and needed a blood type O transfusion. The O blood stock at the hospital happened to be empty, and Sean happened to have the same blood type as Angel. "You said you would take care of Angel in the hospital! Look, because of your negligence she almost lost her life!" Sean shouted at Suki. Yes, Suki promised to take care of Angel while Sean worked. Suki realized she was wrong, and Suki regretted that she had experienced bleeding due to her pregnancy. "I'm sorry, Sean." "What kind of friend are you, damn it!" "Sean! Stop your bullshit!" This time Suki's husband, David, shouted in disapproval. He tugged at the collar of Sean's coat in annoyance. "Why are you blaming Suki completely?! Wasn't it your fault that you came later than usual?! Blame yourself bastard!" Sean pulled David's shirt back with all his might. "What did you say, bastard
"Please, don't leave her alone. Her mental state is weak and shaken." A psychologist's advice. Yes, Angel couldn't help but have to see a psychologist after her suicide attempt made the hospital go crazy. Sean looked at Angel who was lying on the bed. Angel's eyes only focused on the roof of the room, and she was not distracted by the surroundings. Yet this room was filled with people who loved her; Sean, Suki, David, and Harvey. Harriet is with Anne at home, because Harriet is prohibited from seeing Angel for a while. They didn't want Harriet to see her mother's condition, which was still unstable. The meaning of unstable is that Angel often suddenly cries and talks to herself. "How long will she be like this?" Sean asked the psychologist standing beside him. "There is no definite answer to your question, sir. The patient's recovery depends on herself. The most important thing is that the people around her must always be patient to give her support."
