Jessica’s POV

I was in the middle of an investigation because I had discovered hidden finances and undeclared expenses in the company. I didn’t know what they were for or why they were so huge, when suddenly, my secretary knocked.

“Ma’am Laviste, Ma’am Andrea is asking for you in her office.”

“Did she say what it was about?”

“No, ma’am. She just said it’s urgent.”

I sighed before responding,

“Okay, tell her I’m coming.”
