Jessica's POV

I wake up early to cook breakfast for Nick. The bidding results will be announced soon. I wanted to make him feel that no matter what the decision is, I’ll be here by his side. I also plan to finally tell him about my family later.

“Hi Love, good morning.” Nick came out already dressed and ready to go to work. “Eat breakfast first.” I offered

“Humm, smells good,” he said.

“You shouldn’t have gone through all the trouble. You might be late for work.” He hugged and kissed me.

I pushed him gently and seated him at the table to eat.

“Hurry up or you might be late,” I said as I sat in front of him to eat as well.

“By the way, Love, I have something important to tell you later.”

He stopped eating and looked at me.

“Please, Love, let me finish first before reacting,” I said nervously.

He nodded and smiled.

“Of course! Love,” he replied. I smiled at what he said.

After breakfast, Nick left first for work. I also rushed to get ready so I wouldn’t be late to the office.
