JORDYN

I don't think I will ever get enough of him kissing me.

It’s not rough or possessive.

His kiss is slow. Devastating. Like a promise, or maybe a warning dressed in desire. I can’t honestly tell. The only thing I can focus on is the way he tastes, the way his lips feel against mine. The way he swallows my moans and replaces it with groans of his own.

When he draws back, our foreheads still touching, my lungs stutter around the air, too full and too empty all at once. I keep my eyes closed

JORDYNThe air feels different the moment I step outside.Areś doesn’t follow me out, he just stands in the side entrance of his villa, watching in silence, the morning sun casting gold along the lines of his bare chest. I glance back once, just once, and meet his eyes.Honestly, when I tell you that it takes everything in me to not go back, throw myself into his arms and kiss him until I can't breathe. Instead, I offer him a smile, and then I turn and start walking across the grounds. The distance between his place and the main manor isn’t far at all, but with every step, reality creeps back in. What am I going to say to Bianca? She's going to ask where I've been.I use the back exit that leads to the main road, so Luciano’s henchmen don’t see me leaving Areś’ villa. The gravel crunches beneath my feet. The ache in my thighs reminds me of everything we did. And the weight in my chest? That’s the part of me I left behind in his bed.The two men guarding the gate nod in acknowledgemen

The way he swallows my moans and replaces it with groans of his own. When he draws back, our foreheads still touching, my lungs stutter around the air, too full and too empty all at once. I keep my eyes closed, afraid that if I look at him, the spell will break. That this moment, soft, and raw, and terrifyingly tender, will slip between my fingers like steam.“You taste like strawberries,” he murmurs, the words brushing my mouth more than the air.A quiet laugh catches in my throat, breathless and disbelieving. “That’s because you stole my breakfast.”His thumb grazes the corner of my lip again, slower this time. “I’d steal a lot more than that if you let me.”"So would I," I utter, finally opening m

JORDYNThe sharp, dark scent of Areś’s coffee cuts through the warm, sweet steam rising from the pancakes on the griddle. Light floods the kitchen, catching dust and scent alike, turning the air to gold.I’m curled on a stool at the island, his t-shirt loose around my shoulders, one bare leg tucked under me.My skin hums where his hands have been. His scent etched onto my skin and I'm obsessed with it.Across from me, Areś leans against the counter, shirtless, sipping his espresso like he didn’t just spend the last hour completely destroying me in the most exquisite ways.“Do you ever eat?” I ask, plucking a strawberry from the bowl and sinking my teeth into it.He lifts his gaze, holds mine for a long breath, and then the corner of his mouth curves in that devastating way. “I just had the best breakfast any man could ask for.”Heat creeps into my cheeks under the weight of his stare, but I refuse to look away. “I meant food, Areś. Do you eat actual food?”A low, gravelly chuckle rumb

AREŚOne of my hands is behind my head, the other tangled in her hair, brushing through the strands lazily. I don’t even realise I’m doing it until she shifts, a small sound leaving her lips, something content, almost like a purr. And it does something to me. She does something to me.We’ve already gone again, slow this time, deeper. Like she wasn’t just letting me have her body but something I don’t know how to carry. She’s quiet now, her fingers drawing shapes on my chest. Soft little patterns. I don't know what they mean, but I hope she never stops.I’m not used to this. The stillness. The quiet intimacy after. And for the first time in a long fucking time… I don’t hate it. “Can I ask you something?” Jordyn murmurs, her voice an octave above a whisper.I hum, keeping my eyes closed. My hand moves through her hair, slower now.“What were you like as a kid?”That stills me. Not completely, but enough for her to notice. She stops tracing for a beat, then starts again like she’s tryin

AREŚJordyn’s still wrapped around me, warm and tremulous, her chest pressed to mine. Our foreheads rest together, our breaths tangled in the small space between us.I lower her gently onto the bed. Neither of us speaks. There’s nothing to say, not yet anyway. The silence isn’t empty, though. It’s full. Full of what we just gave each other...what she gave me.I cup her face and tilt her mouth to mine, kissing her slowly and deeply. No rush. No hunger now. Just feeling. Her lips move with mine like we’ve done this a hundred times. Like this is where we were always meant to end up. Her fingers stay threaded in my hair. I feel the tension in her starting to ease, her body softening against mine as she releases a soft moan into my mouth. When I finally pull back, I press one last kiss to her jaw, then her temple. I whisper her name like a secret, a vow. And then, gently, I shift.“I’m going to pull out, okay?”She nods; a sleepy sound comes from her throat, and I ease out of her carefull

JORDYN“Cristo, bambina—”I lift my hips again, desperate now, my body open and trembling beneath him.“You think it’s what you want right now, but you’ll regret it.” His voice is rough, like it hurts him to say it. Like he’s trying to give me one last out.But I don’t want out.I shake my head, my eyes locked on his. My voice is barely a breath, but it carries everything I feel.“I’ll regret it if I don’t.” I reach up, brushing my fingertips over his cheek.“I know what I’m asking… and I know I want you.”His gaze ignites, dark and intense, a look that feels both wild and silent. The force of it hits me, a sudden shock that leaves me breathless. Areś leans in, his forehead pressed to mine. His voice is a low tremor when he speaks. “Are you absolutely certain, Jordyn?” The words are a whisper. His nose grazes mine—soft, lingering—like a question asked in the dark, or a plea sent without sound.“More than I have ever been,” I whisper. And then, finally, he breaks. His lips brus
