Three months later………….The garden at Liam Mansion was fully decorated in a way that looked almost unreal, like something taken straight out of a dream. A long ivory aisle stretched beautifully through the center of the garden, bordered carefully on both sides with low arrangements of fresh white roses mixed with soft ivory flowers. Thin gold lanterns stood neatly beside the pathway, glowing. White and blush pink rose petals were scattered gently across the walkway. On both sides of the aisle, rows of perfectly arranged chairs were occupied by guests dressed completely in white, making the entire place look pure and heavenly. The scent of fresh flowers filled the air, while soft instrumental music played quietly in the background. At the end of the aisle stood the altar, a large floral arch made from white roses, ivory peonies, and hanging greenery that draped down gently like vines. Tiny crystal lights were woven carefully around the arch. Standing there was Liam, dressed in a per
The entire kingdom suddenly burst with light once again. Golden rays spread across the sky, pushing away every trace of darkness that had covered the Kingdom of Light. The cold atmosphere slowly disappeared, replaced by warmth and life. The glowing towers shone brightly again. One after another, the people who had been frozen slowly came back to life. Gasps echoed across the kingdom as movement returned to their bodies. Some looked around in confusion, while others stared at the glowing light above them in shock.Alina stood there speechless, her eyes filled with happiness as she watched the once dying kingdom return to its beautiful state. The darkness that had nearly destroyed everything was finally gone.A voice suddenly called out behind her.“Alina…”Alina immediately turned around. Liora was staring at her with widened eyes, completely unfrozen now. For a moment, she remained frozen in shock as though she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Then suddenly, Liora rushed toward
Alina’s soul had been wandering ever since it left her body. She stood alone in a dark, endless space, surrounded by nothing but emptiness. There was no sky above her, no ground beneath her feet. She didn’t know how long she had been walking. Time no longer existed there, yet no matter how far she walked, she saw nothing ahead of her. After wandering for what felt like forever, Alina finally stopped moving. Her legs felt weak, tears slowly filled her eyes as she remembered Liora’s warning. “If your soul does not return to the Kingdom of Light, it will wander endlessly forever.”A broken sob escaped her lips as she slowly fell to her knees. Her trembling hands pressed against her chest while tears streamed endlessly down her face. “Why…” she whispered weakly into the darkness. “Why is fate still so cruel to me?” Even after sacrificing herself… even after leaving behind the man she loved most… she still could not find peace. The thought of Liam shattered her heart all over again. More
Felix rushed toward Liam, who was kneeling on the floor, holding Alina’s lifeless body tightly against his chest. Tears streamed endlessly down Liam’s face as broken sobs escaped his lips, his entire body trembling. Around them, the cave burned violently, flames spreading across the walls and ceiling. Smoke filled the air, making it difficult to breathe, while pieces of rock cracked and fell from above. Yet Liam did not move. It was as if the world around him no longer existed. The only thing he could see was Alina’s pale face resting against him.“Liam! Get the fuck up! We need to leave this place right now!” Felix shouted desperately as he grabbed Liam by the shoulder and tried to pull him up. But Liam refused to move. He remained on his knees. To him, there was no reason to survive anymore. The girl he loved more than his own life was gone. The future he dreamed of with her had been ripped away in the cruelest way possible.“Liam!” Felix yelled again, louder this time, trying hard
Lady Velkrian’s body slammed against the cave wall as Liam struck her with another powerful blast. The impact cracked the stone behind her, and blood slipped from the corner of her lips as her head hit the wall painfully. Her vision spun weakly, and for a moment, everything around her became blurry. Her staff flew out of her hand and landed far away across the cave floor.Lady Velkrian dropped heavily onto the ground, breathing painfully as she tried to catch her breath. Her entire body ached from Liam’s relentless attacks. She lifted her head and saw Liam already preparing another strike. Dark red power danced wildly around his hands while his glowing eyes stared at her coldly. Before she could even move away, Liam released the attack. The blast struck Lady Velkrian directly and sent her crashing flat onto the rocky floor again. Pain shot through her entire body as she coughed weakly. Still, despite the pain, she forced herself to lift her head and glare at him with hatred.“You son
Liam froze, completely taken aback. He hadn’t expected her to kiss him. When she pulled back, he gently held her face between his palms, forcing her to meet his gaze. Her tears kept falling, warm and silent, sliding down her cheeks like her heart was breaking right in front of him.“Alina… stop cry
After Alina was done with her breakfast, her stomach felt bloated, as if she were a pregnant woman. She even struggled to stand up before slowly making her way to her room.Once inside, she grabbed her phone from the table. As expected, there were numerous messages from her parents and from Helen.
When Alina got to her room, she lay down on the bed to sleep, but after a few minutes of lying there, she kept turning and tossing. For some reason, sleep seemed far away, maybe because she didn’t like the room. She got up from the bed, picked up her phone, and tucked it into her shorts pocket. The
