CHAPTER TWELVE - MEMORIES

"I...uh..." Shane scratches his neck sheepishly as he tries to form a sentence. "You know."

"No, I don't know," I say curtly, narrowing my eyes at him.

He always scratches his neck when he has done something wrong. I know him.

He bites his lip and looks at me with his big blue eyes. "Please don't be mad at me, Jay, but I kinda broke my promise. I just got so engrossed in training."

I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose, as I remember the last day before he left.

"What? Today?" I paced around in his room worriedly as he threw clothes from his closet into his suitcase. "What do you mean by you are leaving today?"

Shane ignored me and continued packing hurriedly.

"What about school? You haven't completed senior year yet. It's just a matter of eight months! Complete it, get your diploma and then go. What's the hurry?" I queried.

The fact that Shane was talking about leaving right then, scared me and all I could think about was how he would manage. He needed to complete high school

so far I love this story but I wish she was mated to Shane he kind and cares for her and treats her with respect I feel sorry for the betas wolf I wish she talk to him and tell him she sorry that she don't want to hurt him but his other half is all about his self-absorbed selfish ways and women
