“Why do you ask?” He questioned her. He hated the way people were seeming too interested in Divine’s well-being. From the Elders who had their eyes constantly out for him to Lionel’s sister who could be said to be his eye, he needed to be careful.

“I just thought I should ask since he seemed to be your only family member.” She smiled, her eyes glowing with a deceitful spark and her brows twitching.

He did not find it caring instead he found it cunning.

He looked away, his expression schooled into a straight look. “You do not need to worry about that. All you have to worry about is the new burden you will be carrying when you are crowned.” He told her.
