SERA's POV"It's been a long day, I think I need to take a shower." Damon announced when we got back to our new house in the evening."Yeah, okay." I replied, and decided to wait him out. I walked toward the sofa in our room and sat in it, completely lost in thoughts of the day we'd had.
SERA's pov"Ethan's leaving today." Damon reminded me a couple of hours later and my eyes widened when I suddenly realized."Oh right." I said and checked the time. It was nearly two in the afternoon, and with all the emotions of the day, I had nearly forgotten about his departure.
SERA's POVPanic bubbled up inside of me as I found myself back in that small dingy room where Kade had held me captive."No, no!" I cried as I turned around, looking for a way to escape, but I found none. The windows were barricaded, and even the door now had a metallic gate that re-enforced my captivity.
DAMON's povI couldn't sleep that night. After the long emotional day we'd had, Sera had grown easily tired. Coupled with the medication she was taking, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep right after dinner. But I didn't have it so easy. Not
SERA's povI didn't like seeing Damon this way. His face was grim, and he had murder in his eyes. But Knowing that Kade was the reason for his anger made it even worse, because Kade was ever ready to push any buttons to the extreme.
DAMON's povWhile the Doctor advised Sera to get enough rest and good nutrition now that she was pregnant, I stayed quiet because I was so caught up in the world within my mind.Sera had repeatedly talked about how I shouldn't blame myself for what happened to her. But who else was to be blamed, if not me?
