32. Murder

Flashback

Jackson, who had just arrived home, was surprised to see his parents sitting there waiting for him. His father's first words were about Jackson's love of clubs.

"What made you take them to the club? What are you looking for at the club? You should know, there are only prostitutes who don't deserve to be with you." His father snapped. Jackson, who was being scolded, just shut up and bowed his head.

"I'm just having fun," was Jackson's alibi to avoid being scolded by his father.

"Lies!" said someone who appeared from behind Jackson's back.

"He went there to meet a girl. Ah, wrong... She's not a girl anymore because a lot of guys have fucked her," he mocked as he shrugged his shoulders.

The man sat next to Jackson's father; he didn't care about the glare Jackson was giving him. He felt victorious for making Jackson submit for the first time.

"Oh yes, uncle... That girl is also close to Mike Aidden," he said, further inflaming Jackson's father.

Jackson's father approached him and told him to stay away from Jasmine. "Stay away from that girl! I don't want you to get close to that girl. You should know that the Mike you are dealing with is not someone you can mess with." After saying all that, he left Jackson.

"Sorry, I just wanted to protect you. There are things you don't know, and I don't want anything bad to happen.

Flashback off

*

The long night continued, and the fights and killings continued. Gunshots echoed in the wilderness, and Sili's screams of pain and pleas for mercy alternated.

Tonight, in a village that had been uninhabited for a long time, there was a fight over traitors. A group of mafia led by Mike is chasing the traitors. This is what Mike does: if there are some groups that dare to betray, then he will destroy them, and there will be no survivors.

Mike never chooses not to hurt women or children. If a meta betrayed, then they deserved to die, no matter if it was a woman or a child. Mike also doesn't care if they don't know what his family members are doing because all he knows is that he has dared to challenge Mike, so he must also be willing to die because of their own carelessness.

"Get him alive," Mike pleaded with his men, who were chasing the traitor.

Mike was currently in a small, run-down house. The air vents were very small, and the room was quite dark. Out of the darkness came the sound of a small child crying for his mother.

Mike sat near the child; there were only two meters between Mike and them.

"Uncle, can you let us go?" Plead with the little boy, who was estimated to be seven years old.

"What will you give me if I let you go?" Mike negotiated with the little boy, who didn't understand why he was locked up.

"You can kill me, but please save my son. Don't kill him." A woman approached Mike and prostrated herself at his feet.

Mike, who received this treatment, just smiled dismissively. He was disgusted by those who begged him.

"Can you guarantee that if I kill you, your son won't retaliate against me in the future? You and your husband, who I raised, can betray like this, let alone them." Mike pulled the woman's hair violently. He also slapped her cheek, causing her lips to bleed.

The woman backed away and immediately hugged her son's body. She did so as if she could protect her son from the torture that Mike was about to give him.

"What are we going to do, sir?" I asked one of Mike's men who was currently holding the whip.

"We wait until her husband comes. I want them to see how I destroyed her family." Mike grinned faintly.

Tears from both of them filled the cramped and dark room. The fear was not only felt by the mother and daughter, but by all those who were there. They were afraid that one day they would be there.

"Sorry, sir, I'm late." Said a man who was about one hundred and eighty-five centimeters tall with clearly defined muscles. The scary face made the child cry even harder.

"Please, sir, forgive my mistake; don't kill my child and wife." He begged with a battered face.

"Why are you begging me? You should have known the consequences of betraying me. It's not like you're new, and you should know that I'm quite a royal." Mike pushed the man's body with a block, which, if hit, would make him fall down.

"I'm sorry, sir; I was blinded by the money they gave me."

"Was the pay I gave you not big enough for you to betray them?" Mike snapped, slamming the block he was holding.

The slamming sound of the beams made the mother and child press their bodies even more tightly together. Their embrace tightened, and as the husband turned to look at his wife and child, one of Mike's men punched him in the shoulder.

"Daddy!" the little boy shouted. He wriggled out of his mother's arms. Now the boy was hugging his father like an adult, blocking the bad guys.

"Don't hurt my father; he's a good man," he said, looking into Mike's eyes.

"You're pretty brave for a seven-year-old. But you should know, your father wants himself and you and your mother to die at my hands." explained Mike, who grabbed the boy's shoulders, making him grimace in pain.

"That's not possible, uncle; dad was very good to us. He always helped people and always did what my mom and I wanted." He said it again, loudly.

"Are you sure? Ask your mother. If your father were a good man, he wouldn't be here, and you wouldn't be here either." Mike walked out of the room.

"Please, sir, forgive my mistake. I promise I won't do that again."

Mike ignored her cries; he just asked his men to carry out their duties.

"Father..."
