29. Spy

The bright sunshine was still not as bright as Jasmine's smile this morning. All of them working at the club just stared at Jasmine in confusion. She had never woken up early, let alone smiled as brightly this morning.

"Is she possessed?" whispered one of Jasmine's friends.

"She woke up early, and she joined us for breakfast."

There were many more whispers among those who were actually afraid. Ever since the incident where Jackson ravaged the club, they were scared, especially when it came to hurting Jasmine. They did not want to meet the same fate as Leah, who was still lying in the hospital bed.

Unlike the others, at this moment, Anya immediately approached Jasmine and said, "Why are you smiling so brightly this morning? Did something happen last night? Or did you get a lot of tips?" Anya's questions made Jasmine dizzy.

"If you want to ask me one-on-one, I'm not that great at remembering," Jasmine replied, earning a rude snort from Anya.

"What makes you smile?" Jasmine repeated her question.

"Because I already love this job. And I can finally lead them."

There was nothing wrong with Jasmine's words, but those at the same table as Jasmine were shocked. Including Anya, who rounded her eyes in disbelief at Jasmine's answer.

"That's it? Just because you like your job makes you smile like that," Anya expressed her disbelief at Jasmine's words.

According to Anya, Jasmine was a different girl from the others. But after hearing this explanation, Jasmine was indeed a stepmother. She could smile at something that was so insignificant.

"You should know, Jasmine. I regret asking you why you were smiling. I shouldn't be surprised anymore when I hear your answer. But I'm still surprised every time I hear your answer." Anya walked away from Jasmine and the others. She did not want to provoke her emotions in the morning.

One by one, they left the dining table. Some went back inside to relax, and some went out to enjoy themselves by shopping. Meanwhile, Jasmine is still enjoying her breakfast.

This morning, Jasmine had pancakes for breakfast. Usually, Jasmine stays away from sweets in the morning. It is different if it is noon; then there are no restrictions on eating. It was only because Jasmine was in a good mood that she asked Lorensius for pancakes.

Silence. By this time, the dining table and kitchen area were very quiet. Only Jasmine is still there. She was also wearing earphones to listen to music.

"Are you ready for breakfast? If so, come with me!"

Jackson was currently lurking in a warehouse. It's just that the place is not suitable to be called a warehouse because the building is still standing firmly. Even the paint was still neat, like a prepared base.

Jackson was there because he wanted to find out what Mike was doing. He was also curious about people who were afraid of Mike. Even though, if you look at the face, Jackson's face is scarier than Mike's.

Half an hour passed, and Jackson still hadn't seen Mike. He was getting bored, but there was no way he was going to find out and go inside the warehouse.

After a few minutes, a vehicle came out of the warehouse. A box car was followed by several other cars and finally by a luxury car.

The cars went hand in hand. Jackson originally intended to follow their car, but he decided against it. He saw that the warehouse looked deserted, so he chose to enter the warehouse.

Jackson got out of the car and looked right and left, before he also made sure that there was no CCTV in the area. It was unlikely that there was CCTV, but he also couldn't deny that Mike was a dangerous person.

After looking at the surroundings, which looked safe, Jackson walked sneakily towards the warehouse door. There were no guards in sight, and Jackson could clearly see that the warehouse door was slightly open. The opportunity was immediately used well by Jackson.

"It's not that hard to get into this place," Jackson said proudly. He didn't realize that several people had noticed his arrival.

"What are you doing here?" They asked Jackson.

Jackson immediately fought them; he didn't want to make small talk. He just wanted to find out what Mike did for a living. Jackson was grateful that there weren't too many people in the warehouse, so he could take them all out by himself.

For 15 minutes, Jackson was able to take them all out. Then he walked deeper and deeper. All Jackson saw were some shooting ranges, a boxing ring, and some archery ranges.

Every step of the way, Jackson could only frown; he still didn't know what Mike was doing until he stood in front of a room. The door was locked, and no one was there. In front of the door, the word "no entry" was written.

The curious Jackson immediately looked for a key or anything else that could open the room. In the end, Jackson was no longer interested in the room because he saw several bags of drugs lying clearly without any cover.

Not only drugs, but also sharp weapons and some granite. I don't know what Jackson was thinking at this time. Over time, he also felt scared if he was in the warehouse alone. For evidence, Jackson took some pictures of the piles of drugs and sharp weapons.

Jackson left the warehouse and got back into the car. He quickly drove away from the warehouse and back to his house. He would find a way to corner Mike, and judging from the items there, Jackson concluded that Mike was a mobster.

Jackson walked into the house and turned on the lights. He didn't think that there was someone waiting for him. So he ignored the person. Until his steps were interrupted by a call from him.

"Where are you from? I've seen you at the club lately. Is there something you're hiding from me, or are you just visiting there?"
