To say I'm surprised is an understatement. I cast an uncertain look in Sophia's direction, but her jaw collides with the floor. I felt awkward and squeamish, this isn't a position I thought I would ever be in, but here I am.

An Oracle on his knees, lowering his head to me in both submission and respect. One of which I've never experienced before. "Why are you doing that?" It's a mission to stop my words from quivering before these tensely powerful beings in the room, but I manage, "stand up."

He's on his feet in the next instant, amusement flashes in his golden eyes a sure sign he is no doubt an Oracle, "I have waited a long time to meet you, Valerie Ca…" my eyes narrow dangerously at the words he was about to speak, but doesn't.

It doesn't surprise me he has the dream-like, gentle tone too. Oracles are delicate by nature; they are the only ones to live on Eldora without being entirely consumed by chaos.
