The bartender saw the guy eschew a lap dance from Penny, a nude saloon dancer. She was one of a number of dancers that performed every weekend for the neighborhood guys who spent their days working long hours in the scorching heat on the range. A man could be seen seated at a desk next to an office window with his back to the glass in the candlelight coming through the church windows. A woman’s dark form could be made out moving between the pews further into the building, but nothing else about her behavior could be made out. The pastor and his wife were working in the church cleaning and organizing the books in the late evening.The stranger discovered the fresh meat he was looking for, however he couldn’t tell from the outside if anyone else was inside. When he moved to the back of the church, he saw that the pastor’s wife had left the door ajar. He carefully opened it and slid inside while remaining as silent as he could. After entering the back store room, he made his way to the altar’s entrance and entered the dim area where the candlelight couldn’t illuminate him. The pastor’s wife’s funeral was held early in the day, leaving him alone to lead bible class in the evening, which he had scheduled at Bohdan’s request. Bohdan grieved that the pastor’s wife was slain without him feeding off of her, therefore he was now in need of fresh blood. At least once a week, he needed to eat, and today the pastor brought fresh meat to the table.As the class was being held in the back of the church for a small number of individuals, Bohdan concealed there. A group that the pastor believed the vampire would target well. The pastor, enraged over the killing of his wife, was forced to carry out the instructions of the vampire who had killed her and left her to hang in the public square.Bohdan heard the pastor say a closing prayer before the lesson ended, which was supposed to last for an hour.
