In history, vampires were known to fear the sun for it burns their skin and slowly melts their flesh but that was just a stupid belief written by someone who saw how vampires turned into ashes when exposed to radioactive chemicals. Or perhaps, someone wrote about this when burning people alive was one of the cruelest punishments centuries ago.

But no matter where these different and superficial vampire stories came from, the vampires coexisting with the citizens of Pinephil don’t mind the humans’ tell-tales. It’s best to keep the people ignorant and fool the humans into believing that vampires do burn when exposed to sunlight.
