Chapter 43- Losing Him

The worried face of Jacob appeared to Claire when she opened her eyes again. She looked around. She was there in her unit.

"Hey... are you okay?" There is still a trace in Jacob’s voice that he wants to panic.

When she nodded, he let out a loud and deep breath. That seems like a long time to stopped himself from breathing.

"Damn!" he said. "Do you know what you're doing to me?"

Claire just looking to him. Concern and relief are obvious in his perfect face.

"You're going to kill me worrying about you, Claire! You've been unconscious for a few minutes. I don't know where to take you. I can't get you to the doctor and I know..." He let out a deep sigh again.

Claire got up. She wants to smile. Why is it so good to hear that Jacob is just so worried about her?

"What?" Jacob snorted in annoyance, still frowning.
