Chapter 4

Naomi POV ~

“Naomi.” Nicklaus yelled on the phone, then I knew the call was connected, and he had been listening to the entire conversation.  I could feel his anger knowing I was planning to leave with Vincent even if he was not present here, his voice tells it all.

Elijah turned and looked at me saying,“I should have known this is also one of your tricks you are playing again, I regret calling Alpha Nicklaus if I know you will hurt him, don't you have any conscience?” Elijah said being angry at me.

I didn't panic for long, even as Vincent grabbed my hands. I hit his hands off and walked to meet Elijah.

“This is no trick of mine, believe me, Elijah.”

“What do you think you are doing, Naomi?” Vincent asked, seeing I am not making any attempt to go with him.

“Vincent, tell me, why must I leave with you?” I questioned him, not even looking at him with love.

“Naomi, have you forgotten? I will explain later again if you have, come with me now, I will take your action as ignorance.” He said, trying to reach for my hands again, but I took a step back.

“Stay where you are, Vincent, you still haven't answered my question, why must I leave with you?” I asked again, being so serious and Elijah looked at me and I could tell he was confused as well.

“You have to leave with me, all I care about is your happiness, Naomi.” He said, trying to convince me.

“But I never complained that I am not happy staying with Nicklaus, moreover the Night Walker Pack is taking good care of me and Nicklaus showers me with love unquestionably, with all these things, why do I have to leave?” I questioned again, and I noticed Elijah had a brief smile on his face.

“Naomi, tell me the truth, did they threaten you to do this? Talk to me? I can't believe you will give such a response and support a ruthless person like Nicklaus.”

“No one is threatening me, I am just telling you the simple truth, so there is no reason for me to leave with you, you may take your leave now.” I said to him, and he scoffed and looked at me again.

“I know this is not Naomi talking, Naomi, you choose to stay with someone like Nicklaus? Everyone knows he is so cranky and paranoid. Please, come to your senses, Naomi.” I didn't say a word to him, then he spoke again,“You and I know fully well that staying with him will degrade you as well, so come with me.”

“I am sorry Vincent, but I have made up my mind to stay with Nicklaus, I am happy living with him and I don't mind getting degraded or whatsoever, I am happy here so just leave.” I said again, and he still looked confused about the whole thing and for the first time, I felt relieved doing something I wanted and not what others wanted from me.

I felt the loud spin in my head again, it was unbearable.

*Flashback Past Life.*

“Elijah, I am here to take Miss Naomi.”

“What do you mean, you are here to take Naomi away? On whose order?” Elijah questioned him.

What the hell is wrong with Elijah? I believe Nicklaus gave him the order not to let me out of his sight, but no matter what, I am leaving here with the man I truly love.

He looked at me and let out a smile and his smile melts my heart. I trust Vincent to set me free from a cranky and paranoid person like Nicklaus, living with him will only degrade me.

“Elijah, I am not here for much argument, don't get in my way Elijah.”

“If I don't let you have her, what will you do?” Elijah said, looking at him with hatred.

Vincent looked at me, saying,“Don't worry Naomi, I got this okay?” 

“Elijah, let me leave with him, is it by force I must leave with your ruthless master?” He prevented me from talking and said,“I told you, I got this.”

He faced Elijah again,“You heard the lady? I won't repeat myself again, for the last time, I am here to take Naomi away and don't you interfere.” He gripped my hands and I could feel my heart beating extremely fast. I always like it when he puts on a heroic look, he looks so cute. I held his hands firm as well, ready to leave with him when I heard Nicklaus ' voice from the phone.

“Naomi!!!.” One could feel his anger, and it frightened me a little, but with Vincent by my side, I feared no one.

I ran away with Vincent and immediately Elijah and the others ran after us. I didn't think we could make it outta here and boom, a little fight started, and I got locked up in prison by Nicklaus for trying to leave him.

“I told you, Naomi, you are mine now, and I will never let you leave.” He added.

“Let me go, you ruthless beast.” I yelled, but he gave deaf ears.

*Present Life.*

The headache finally stopped,“Vincent, I love Nicklaus and nothing you say or do will make me leave his side, so just leave.”

I was able to dismiss him and when he left, I had a deep breath of relief.

“You are right that I should believe you, you were not playing tricks after all.” Elijah said with a bold smile.

I replied to him saying,“I told you I was sincere about meeting Nicklaus and giving him food, now you find out the truth, can I still meet him?”

“Yes I will, Alpha Nicklaus is happy right now.” I walked with him, and he showed me where he was and left.

Someone pulled me into his arms from nowhere and it was handsome Nicklaus, he stared deep into my soul asking,“You said you loved me right?”

I didn't say a word because I was flustered,“Indeed , for the first time you made me happy, I loved what you did in standing by me, never leave me Naomi.” He didn't let me say a word when he moved closer to my lips and kissed me deeply, holding my waist.
