Ales and I had finished a week of preparation and today was the day I was going to see Judie. He texted me the address, and I did not bother to respond to his text messages, so he called me that night, nagging about why I didn’t text back. I just told him I am busy, but I received his text and will go there today. Furious because I just didn’t really reply.

When I got to the front of the enormous building, I adjusted my clothes. I took a deep breath and entered. I approached the information desk. “Good day, I have an appointment with Mr. Judiel Marco Sanrazo,” I said and smiled at him.

He looked at me from head to toe, as if recognizing me. “You must be Lucille Santos he mentioned?” he asked, and I nodded with a smile. “This way, Ma’am.” He pointed the right way toward the elevator.

“Thank you, I can do this.” I refused him because I thought he was going to take me to Judiel’s office. He nodded and bid a goodbye.
